Brilliant replacement for when we lost the keys to our previous patio door style doors. No fuss at all for bottom locks on glass doors.

Rating is purely on service, which was very good. A query was promptly responded to and a correction to the carriage charge made, without question. The item cannot be rated as it has yet to be fitted.

Bought as a replacement for an old lock and was identical. A good lock with easy action and was easy to fit.

Seems reassuringly strong and quite simple to fit, but the actual lock is quite loose and I don't expect it will last very long. If you need a lock and key rather than just a bolt I would perhaps look elsewhere.

I bought two locks. These were packaged separately, so they were not sold as a pair. Now this did not matter for me. However it seems if anyone has bought one of these locks, the keys provided will unlock any of these locks. Beware.

It’s the Vauxhall Astra of locks: okay quality if not Rolls Royce. I found this Yale bolt added useful extra security to uPVC doors, and it would work on wooden doors too. It was a moderate difficulty DIY job; the only skill needed is accurate drilling.TIPS:• Used internally, it adds beneficial security to patio doors and the like.• Clutch screws aren’t necessary for home use. (Yale designed this bolt for internal use only, and it would be insecure if used externally.)• If fitted near any glass that gets condensation, then using stainless steel screws would be advantageous. (The screws supplied will rust. Mine did.)• This bolt isn’t the latest from Yale (but the quality of Yale’s latest equivalent is awful).• When fitting the lock, accurate drilling is vital!
