I just happened to be watching “Masters of the Air” at the same tim3 on TV. This book and the TV series really complimented each other. The courage of those pilots was unbelieveable. I could feel the fear and bravery wrestling with each other. I have read other books by Rebecca, but this was a lovely switch. I will definitely be reading more. Her writing, descriptions and accuracy made this story that much more interesting. I do not hesitate to recommend.

This book was heart-wrenching but hope-filling, all-inspiring and emotive. You can’t help but root for the characters, both past and present. The past characters’ determination and grit to love and live even through adversity made my heart ache; the present characters reminded me why it’s important to not give up on happy endings. I loved it!

What a beautiful read by Rebecca Yarros , my first read by her and will not be my last .Be prepared to be swept away into a beautiful classic romance , that will pull at your heart and make you yearn for more .You can't help but fall in love with all the characters , and Jameson and Noah will make it hard to love another man LOLThe novel bounces back and forth between Scarlett and Jameson in the 1940's during the war and despite against all the odds these 2 were destined for each other and their love was so touching and charming.When we are in current time we are reading of Georgia ( Gina) Scarlett's great-granddaughter , who has just gone through a horrible divorce and collides with the dashing and talented writer Noah, and it just so happens that Georgia's great-grandmother Scarlett was also a famous author .When there is an unfinished story by Scarlett that is found after she passes on , Georgia needs to decide which deserving author should have the honors of finishing her great -grand mothers novel!Typically I despise the banter that goes back and forth between new found lovers and specially one after a divorce as usually I find the writer's tend to write the character's to be so negative and moody, but I felt Rebecca did a good job of giving Georgia a chance to slowly explore that area on her own , without it being over dramatic .I laughed, I cried and this book gave so much hope :-) It was a perfect match and I hope you enjoy it too !

The book was in very good when it arrived, the cover was intact and all the pages were smooth with a nice print.
