We raise chickens and I wanted a superior boot other than the light "chicken boots' the hatcheries want to sell you. I need something that will keep me separated from chicken droppings and the other muck involved while processing chickens on butcher day. I don't need a steel toe. These boots have been great, butcher day involves a lot of water and mud and general mess. These are a great thickness and easy to clean since they need to be sterilized pretty frequently. An earlier review explained the boot biting into his foot where the steel toe is molded in but mine seem to have an added layer there so I had no issues. I have been wearing these for hours at a time and they are comfortable and durable. A much better boot at a better price than a lot I have seen. I'm not wearing it every day but only for a few hours a couple days a week they are a comfortable and efficient boot. Also, I wear a size 9 in everyday shoe and these seem to be sized as your everyday shoe. No problems getting them on and off, I don't need to struggle or have someone pull them off for me. Very happy with my purchase.

These boots are sturdy and fun (we got the blue/yellow color combo) and practical! We purchased these for our adult son who works in his garden and feeds the chickens, as well as, walks in the rain with his toddler for fun! They are very sturdy (steel reinforced toe) with thick rubber and sized like your shoe. We bought similar Hisea rain boots for his wife and toddler, too!

Quality of the boots and materials is great. However, the inside steel toe section doesn't have a smooth transition to the non-steel material. There's no cushion at the edge and caused bruising to my big toe. This may be an isolated case (to me). I still like the boots and appreciate the steel-toe safety features. After putting on some extra thick tube socks, the boots kept my feet dry and safe while doing some heavy brush cleanup in very wet grounds.

I've been meaning to get a proper rain boot for years. It doesn't rain too frequently where I live, but the last few rainy seasons have been increasingly more aggressive. I was also tired of wet shoes by the end of every walk.I try and walk daily for exercise, rain or shine, and I just completed 7.5mi in these boots. Granted, they're not designed for walking as there is no way to adjust the boot against your foot/ankle, but wanted to give it a shot to put them through their paces. I stepped into ankle deep water around the city multiple times and the shoes remained completely waterproof, and that's really all that counts!Obviously, these are not hiking or walking shoes by any means, but definitely can be used in a pinch or heavy rain that'll overwhelm regular shoes. The fit is pretty loose and it's meant to be worn for demanding work conditions, given the steel toe.Overall, I'm really happy with these. Excellent price point and a quality boot.

These boots run a bit large but are comfortable. Works great for shoveling snow in the -4 degree windchill.
