Bought this to replace faulty part in a 2 yo HBX 2995 RC truck. It was easy to install, just a few plugs, and it works.

Fits in the HBX2995 and it's derivatives
I used this as part of a cheap brushless upgrade for my 2995. It fits great in the stock position of the ESC, no fitment issues.This has to be a Surpass Hobby 45A ESC, and as such it can be programmed with a Surpass Hobby programming card if you want to customize it a bitAlso of note, the Surpass Hobby 60A ESC is the same size as this one, so it should also fit and be a bit of an upgrade from this version.

Good stuff
I tend to like HBX components for the most part, at least on thier vehicles. Used this as an upgrade to a brushed model I had. Very fast and fun and seems to handle 3s just fine!
