HapeQuadrilla The Cyclone Marble Run

Bought this for my 5 year old grandson's birthday.It is expensive to buy the whole run, and takes time to build. At his age, needs a lot of help with the construction but imagine that in another year he would happily design and construct the runs by himself. Once built it takes a little time to adjust so that the marbles don't fall off the track or come to a halt before the end of the run. You also have to be careful not to knock the construction as it is displaced very easily. But, a good well made toy overall which he is having fun playing with.

We were looking for a more sturdy marble run and this is absolutely fantastic. Easy instructions, clear pictures, colour coded-such a difference from the plastic version we bought last year. We have had hours of fun playing with it today after it was opened as a present this morning by our son, he loves it! Worth every penny.

It's absolutely brilliant! My son loves it. In fact the whole family enjoys it. It's well made and will last for a long time. We will be buying more of those in the future.

I'm not sure what's happened with this brand new Cyclone set that's touted as a wooden toy but I've received it with 20x purple parts made of plastic (see photo attached)! My son has busted open the box in excitement and using already so I can't imagine I can return the whole toy but if it's possible to exchange the plastic parts for the real wooden purple pieces (like as in the Hape Quadrilla Music Motion Marble Run - 2 pieces shown in the photo attached) I would appreciate the exchange. It's a fantastic toy. My son has loved playing with the music marble run and so purchasing the cyclone was an add-on to his existing set. I feel very disappointed that the cyclone set received is not the same high quality as marketed and expected from Hape.

This is excellent. Make high quality product that will last for generations. Made from wood rather than plastic like most other marble runs advertised, it is durable, colourful and simply great fun. Good luck explaining to your kids why you need to play with it more than them! 👍

Both kiddies and adults have had fun with this.....

This product is excellent for a 5 year-old in that it encourages interpreting and following directions. Projects can be as simple or complicated as the child wants and it allows them to innovate as they mature. Great Product.

In principle this is great.Unfortunately I have only recently realised that the reason we can't build all the designs in the excellent booklet with it is because the box is missing one of the building blocks (turquoise / blue-green one). there are supposed to be 7 but it only came with 6. it has taken me too long to realise this as box was kept unopened for my son's birthday - so outside returns window now.Please count blocks on arrival!!!
