Three Things You Need to Know About This Instant Snow
If you're shopping around for some instant snow for fun, making cloud slime, or winter decoration, there are really just three things that you need to know about it.1. It gets messy. Do what we've been doing for years, when our Daughter wants to play with it with her friends: get a cheap kiddie pool. Just get a cheap plastic shell or inflatable kids pool, and make that the "play" area if the snow is to be handled.2. Don't throw snowballs in areas where anyone will walk. You can throw snowballs made from this instant snow on surfaces like grass or dirt. But Not cement, hardwood, tile floors, etc. It turns into an incredibly slippery substance if you overdo the water, or people step on it. Someone is guaranteed to slip on it. Which brings us back to #1 (try to keep play activity limited to a kiddie pool or sit-down area).3. It's the most affordable instant snow powder you'll find in bulk on Amazon. Years ago, we were using "Let it Snow" packets. But it's easier to manage - and great for making bulk batches of snow - if you can find a larger container of it. Which they don't have in some of the more well-known brands. I'll spare you the time shopping around: no other brand can make 20 gallons of fake snow at this price ($38 plus a 5% off coupon at the time of writing the review). It's more or less the same as most of the other instant snow brands that we've used in the past. Best thing you can really do, is experiment with it in smaller batches, to make sure you get the consistency right. But most important of all, be very mindful of where the snow will get handled. Because no matter what brand you buy, the stuff is a pain to clean up after. As long as you keep that in mind in advance, you'll have a lot of fun handling it and playing around with it.

Hot snow
I had bought instant snow from a small toy store before and it was wonderful it got cold when you added water and felt like real snow. That’s what I thought I was getting instead this stuff gets warm when you add water and it turns out this is the same stuff they used to use in diapers the only way this stuff resembles snow is that it is white worst waste of money ever

What the heck is this stuff?
When I first saw this snow, I knew I needed to have it! We very rarely have a white Christmas in NC, so I wanted to surprise all the grandkids with snow. But what is it? It says it is non-toxic and eco-friendly, but it doesn't say exactly what it is.There's not a lot of information or directions on the container. And some of the directions are a little confusing. It says to add 2 cups of the "snow" to 1 gallon of water. What they mean is 2 of the little scoops that come with it, not 2 cups. The scoop is buried in the snow, so you will have to dig for it. It doesn't say the temperature of the water to use, so I used lukewarm water. I think if you used cold water it would be colder like snow.It does not feel like snow. Not light and fluffy. It's kind of gooey but doesn't leave your hands feeling sticky once you shake it off. It feels like a chunky slime or goop. You can make balls with it, but when you throw it, the ball becomes flakes or crumbs before it hits anything. It feels different and is fun to play with and dig your hands into.I was curious about what happens later. It's been over 2 hours and it hasn't changed much in the bowl. It did get a little wetter and sloppy. I wondered if it would dry out and be usable again, but I don't think so. The snow I threw in the yard seems to have disappeared!I left the bowl of snow out on the kitchen counter overnight and it did not change much at all. I guess I'll throw the rest of this outside so it disappears!Very fun product and well worth it!Edit: I took this to our family Christmas party and everyone had a blast with it! It was a big hit!

awesome
Although I am unsure of what this substance is made of it is fun to play with the best I can come up with is its what is inside a diaper, either way its fun and does not dry out easy, the kids loved it and so did the residents at the local nursing home.

its ready quick
it gets done quickly but sadly feels like jelly nothing close to feeling like snow so its a let down at the end.
