Good rugged waterproof watch
Always the correct time as updated automatically every day. All the features I need. Rugged and good value so no need to take any special care but they still last well. This is the third or fourth of this particular model I have had over the last 25 years

Great watch by casio
Bought this as a present for the father-in-law for Christmas, i has the same one a few years back and he was quite fond of it then. The wave-ceptor technology is fantastic as along as you have set it up right (its dead easy, not as some other people have said on previous reviews) it will keep the time near perfect without you ever having to touch it.All the features are great, but to be fair i hardly use them as your mobile has all tools you need. The date is nice and clear to see and the the light makes it great to see at night. That is pretty much i used on the watch.A great time peace for worry free time keeping

Good decent watch
I bought this watch for £50 and got it shipped for free to Copenhagen. It reached in 5 days, so thats not bad at all. This is a pretty decent watch and provides all the basic functions one would expect. The wave ceptor technology is awesome. I compared the calibrated time with my work PC and the difference was just 2.5 seconds. I actually had turned off the calibration to save battery after I noticed that a manual reception failed so I felt theres no point that it keeps trying every night. But for some reason it calibrated itself one night while it was lying in the drawer (You get a notification in the little red circle after a successful calibration) I was surprised and double checked that I had indeed turned it off but it did calibrate. I am not sure if it is done automatically after a given period but it certainly baffles me. Just because of that this gets 4/5 stars. Its a light watch and the strap is nice and sturdy and grips the wrist well unlike some other resin band watches that slip down. All in all I am satisfied and will recommend this.

Tough to ask for more in this category and price range
The watch has got an appealing sporty design and a screen with good contrast providing excellent legibility. It is very comfortable (just a bit chunky maybe, but on a big wrist like mine it's just normal) and is extremely precise (mine is losing about half a second per month, but according to my impressions that is a matter of luck with quarts watches), so I gave up on using the radio control function and maybe save the battery for a bit longer. Some might find the digits for the date a bit small, but then again that is a matter of taste because as they are, the primary indication of the time of the day stands out better. A very welcome feature is the possibility to change the format of the date to the European standard (day-month-year).

A great watch but not completely reliable
This is a great watch! Super accurate with radio sync from DCF77. Very cool. However, sometimes (a few times the past years) the "watch software" crashes and it reboots itself, and then you need an other watch to get the proper time. Thus, I don't completely trust this watch. But, it is realy worth it's price. It is very rugged, copes with salt water, cold weather, etc. The back-lighting is very good too.

Great watch.
Love this watch, it's just the right size and weight and looks good. I wanted a watch that always showed the right time and did not need adjusting and this fits the bill. As soon as it was set for UK time, it set itself and has not missed a beat since. If I were to find fault it would be that the strap is a bit too long and the end sticks out a little, but that's what scissors are for.

Nice watch...but...
It's a nice watch and it updates every day even while I'm wearing it so the time is always very accurate. One of the reasons I purchased it was for the alarm facility but unfortunately that is pretty useless. The alarm volume is so low that unless the watch is close to your ear, you just won't hear it. That is my reason for the 3* rating.I'm afraid Amazon let me down as well with the delivery. I paid for "express delivery" but it arrived a day late so that was a waste of money. (nothing to do with the watch though!!).

Looks good, when it works is fine but utterly unreliable
Awful. Looks good, when it works is fine but utterly unreliable. If you look at other reviews of wave captor watches you will see that many people have the same problem. Time defaults to 1st Jan 2005. I had it sent for repair. They said they replaced the mechanism inside and the battery. Within a few months it had the same problem - do not buy
