Big difference when you have quality. The fish is delicious and good quality oil and peppers.The sardines are not "hot" to my standards at least, but a bit spicy.Great buy!I'll be purchasing these again.

These Sultan sardines are from Morocco. Moroccan sardines are the best! Not bitter. Solid texture, not mushy. Try these and you will be impressed! AAA+++

Sardines taste good, with good quality oil and packed with two nice, reasonably hot chilis. Good for eating out of the can or as a sauce for pasta.

They say sardines are an acquired taste. Well, I've been eating them since I was a kid so I'd say I'm qualified. Back in the day you'd grab the cheapest crap off the shelf at the supermarket and you'd be content. Not anymore. For years I would buy Crown Prince. Oh boy, those were my go-to until they packed them in like sardines they were dried out and tasted like sardine jerky. No more! Then I switched to King Oscar, which I still get. Those are good. But --- I've never tasted sardines like these, especially the Sultan Moroccan with chili peppers! Moist, plump, bursting with flavor! I am hooked! I'm always hesitant to try something new but I am so glad I did. These are now my favorite sardines!
