Amazing milk tea flavor, regardless of price tag
This boba milk tea is so delicious. Regardless of its price tag, it is hands down the best canned milk tea I've had. If you served this at a boba shop chilled and in a cup, people would not be able to tell the difference between it and fresh milk tea.The only thing that was a surprise to me is that the boba is not tapioca, but more of a jelly. This makes sense because tapioca pearls would just disintegrate if left in liquid. It has the texture of grass jelly but is actually pretty satisfying as far as boba goes. The pearls do tend to sit at the bottom of the can, so it is hard to drink it without a boba straw (which is not included).

Konjac boba pearls
The Jans Boba milk tea drink is a delightful treat that stands out for its unique flavor and lower sweetness compared to regular boba milk tea. What sets it apart even more is that the boba pearls are made of konjac, a dietary fiber-rich ingredient that is more easily digestible than traditional tapioca flour boba pearls. Additionally, it boasts a relatively low calorie count, with only 260 calories per can, making it a guilt-free indulgence. The taste is further enhanced when served chilled, providing a refreshing sensation. However, the only downside is the price, as a single can can be quite expensive at 7 bucks. But fear not, as the cost becomes more reasonable when purchased in larger quantities, such as a 6-pack package, which is priced at only half the cost of a single can. For those who enjoy this unique milk tea, opting for a larger quantity is a more economical choice. Nevertheless, for those looking to try it for the first time or only intending to purchase a single can, the price may be a bit steep. Despite this drawback, the delicious taste and innovative use of konjac for the boba pearls make it a preferred choice for those seeking a less sweet, more easily digestible option in the world of milk teas.

Pricey but convenient!
Like "everyone" these days, I love bubble tea, and frequently visit shops around me for a treat. I didn't realize canned pre-made versions existed until I saw these, and I was curious to try it out, to have on hand for when a boba craving struck, but I didn't have time to venture to a boba shop. I got the classic original flavor, black tea with milk and boba. I didn't know what to expect from a canned drink, particularly as you cannot customize it (I usually get less sweet). The tea flavor was good, they use real black tea, and it didn't seem to suffer from being a canned tea. It was very creamy, using milk powder and creamer, much like many tea shops. I didn't mind the powdered ingredients, but if you want soy or almond or oat milk instead, you are limited here. It was pretty sweet though, too sweet for my tastes, as I said, I usually get less sweet at boba shops, and they make this only with full sweetness. I was able to pour over ice and dilute a bit, but, definitely sweeter than I'd like. It would be great to see a lower sugar option! So the milk tea itself, besides not being able to adjust sweetness, was basically the same as what you'd get in a shop. The boba is where you could tell this wasn't a freshly made product. They just didn't have quite the same bounce and chew as fresh. Still, it was fun to have the boba, although I realized quickly I didn't have an appropriate straw!Overall, I am glad I tried, and it could be nice to have on hand for when a craving strikes, but, it was too sweet, and you need a boba straw of your own ...

Not good
Unfortunately this was not it for me. I did not like the taste of it at all and the boba pearls weren’t the right texture. I can’t expect much since it is canned but still, I couldn’t even stomach it.

Surprised at the homemade taste
I was honestly surprised at how homemade-y this tasted. There are boba balls bubbles included inside, but most of the flavor went into the drink so the balls didnt really taste like anything. I got the classic pack of 1, and it tastes amazing, even better than the kits you can get online. The drink was filled right up to the top and I feel like I can taste each flavor like the milk and tea and even some kind of boba bubble tea, but the bubbles themselves didnt taste that good because its been soaking in the drink. It did come just thrown in a bag but for 1 can I wasn't expecting too much. Be careful when shaking too. Also the design on the can I love:)

Not For Me
I love boba tea. When I saw this product I was excited to try it. I don't have any nearby boba drink shops so getting boba sent straight to my house? I was hyped.Pros: I did find the tea itself good.Cons: My major issue with this is the boba pears. Perhaps the reason I love boba tea is because of the texture of the boba pearls. I really disliked the texture of the pearls in this. I understand the appeal of the shelf stable boba, but the texture resembled grainy jello? Almost as if the boba that was not cooked correctly. It did not resemble boba in my opinion. The pearls were pale - similar to the color of the tea. I just don't think boba pearls are meant to sit in liquid for this long. Their texture and flavor is compromised. I also think this would be more marketable if it had a straw included. There is difficulty getting any and all the boba out of the bottom without a straw. If you don't mind the weird texture and buying straws you may enjoy this. $7 for 1 can is crazy to me. If it lived up to the drinks I could get at actual boba shops I might say otherwise.
