Using it with adjustable base! Sorta!
The media could not be loaded. I might have been too hasty to say in the video "I do not recommend." Yes, the frame WAS (and still is) crooked... but I do wonder if the center supports and slats would have made it pop into shape... however, as I went along, the crookedness made it really hard to put some screws in and I found myself constantly having to undo some screws to get another piece on then go back and tighten up the other screws I had first put in... of course I was doing it the way the instructions were laid out; which brings me to my next point....The instructions were well laid out. They were very detailed and very easy to understand. All the screws/washers came neatly labeled and packaged. The beams and other metal pieces all came labeled with the little stickers. Had I not had so much trouble with the crookedness of this bed frame I think it generally would have been really easy. I had no missing pieces or parts. It comes with an Allen Wrench, which is all you need to put the screws in. The metal frame itself is very light. I was actually surprised to the point I was concerned aboutbif this bed could easily be "warped" with weight. But I really think this bed would be pretty sturdy had I used ALL pieces.I cannot comment on EVERYTHING about this bed frame, because I did not use all the pieces. I have an adjustable base (shown in photos). In other words: I do not need the center slats, just the shell of the frame, in which I just place my adjustable base inside. While I believe my adjustable base frame has holes where you can buy special brackets to attach to some bed frames, or headboards designed for adjustable bases, this metal frame did NOT. In other words: there was no way for me to connect my adjustable base frame to this metal frame and make it "one piece." Not an issue... until you have to move the bed for any reason; to which, the frame and bed don't move together. This can have annoying consequences, as the metal frame is very light and it wouldn't take much to move it. Having to constantly "fix this" would drive me insane... so I did what any normal person would do who just put together a bed and has no intention of taking the whole thing apart and fussing with a return; cause that, to me, would be just as painful as trying to put a baby back in the womb.... so I grabbed some black gorilla tape (it's like duct tape, but black, and the strong gorilla brand) and taped tightly several sections of the frame to my adjustable base. Don't know how well it will hold up, but it definitely seems to be working for now. This may not even be an issue if you have carpeted floors. I have wood, so beds easily move.I was able to temporarily make my dust ruffle "fit," even if poorly, until I can get one with the slits along the corners for the poles/legs. That's no big deal. I already have the one I want in my wishlist, but can't budget for it just yet. When my mother saw the final outcome (minus new comforter and dust ruffle I still need to get), she said "it looks really nice!" So I guess it's not as bad as I imagined when I realized I couldn't attach the base.So... I am on the fence. I like it, but I do not like it. I have no idea how well this will hold up. For now I will give it 4 stars, to be fair, since I am using it in a way it was not intended. I still take one star away for how complicated some parts were hard to put together and caused a lot of frustration even before I got to the center supports and slats that I didnt use.Hope this helps!⬇️

Well made and easy to assemble
I have put together a lot of self-assemble furniture and this was one of easier builds I've encountered. The build quality of the parts and hardware are excellent. The instructions were well written and illustrated. Not only were all the parts included in the box, but there are extra hardware included and each part was labeled making a breeze to inventory the parts and match them up during the build process. There are even caps on the bottoms of the legs so it won't scratch up the floor. The only issue I ran into was in joining the head end of the frame with the feet end. There was a little shimmy in the angles that needed some convincing to slide together. I like the look of the bed frame too ;-). The mattress hasn't arrived yet, so can't comment on how nice it is sleep on yet.
