Q: Does this come with the holder ?

Mine did not come with the battery holder.

Q: Can i use a m12 3.0 ah battery for this hoodie? is there a limit on the ah used that might cause damage if exceeded?

You can use anything that will attach. Even an m18 with the proper battery converter

Q: For those that have tried both, do you prefer the heated jacket or heated sweatshirt?

I prefer the sweatshirt because I like to wear it under a coat. It has a nice hood so it works well for the coat I have.

Q: Does anyone know if the sizing runs big or small?

The pictures have a Size chart. Just click on the main picture and the last photo is a size chart. The 2X-Large is : Chest 46"-48" and Waist 38"-40"
