Best Underpad
My husband is a stroke survivor with incontinence problems. Cardinal Health Wings Underpads (along with Tena underpants) protects the bed. These products were the ones used in the hospital and rehab and I find that they are the best.

Not comparing them to other products, so 5 stars just means no complaints.
My wife broke her hip. While in the rehab facility I observed the procedures of the nurses aids. Before I brought her home I cleaned out the spare room to make room for the hospital bed and found stuff that I had been gifted but hadn't needed. Found a pack of these. They were EXACTLY what I needed. I had a few washable bed pads that I now use on the wheel chair (helps with positioning too). So now, when I change pull ups I have these. If it has a wet spot, you can fold it over, cover that and leave it there till you are done. When removing, roll the patient onto their side, fold the old close to under them. Fold the new and tuck it against the old. Roll the patient the other way, remove the old and unfold the new. If the patient is being transferred to the bed turn it diagonal or vertical, then when they sit on it and you turn them it winds up oriented right, maybe need to do a little roll here and there to get it right. They are strong enough that you can use them to position the patient. Grasp and pull. If trying to get the patient's head further toward the head of the bed, raise the foot and pull the pad downhill.

Pads are sized for a twin bed or a hopital bed.
M.D. Anderson sent some of these Cardinal Health 36 inch pads home with us when hubby was released from hospital. They are the correct size for his hospital bed and and absorb liquid very well. I was happy to find I could purchase thru Amazon.

very strong
We used these in the care of a loved one during their hospice phase and these things are strong enough to lift an adult with.. like, they are seriously impressive in their strength. You can use it to help reposition a person to where they need to be while also protecting the surface and they are disposable of course, so you throw them out when needed. They helped a lot.
