Finally! After trying 5 different shoes Skechers offers, these are THE ones! My foot is wide, has a high arch and toes are short(er). The slip-on styles I first tried had such tight elastic, continuous lacing and small openings (tongue sewn to the upper- can't be loosened) I couldn't cram my foot even 1/3 of the way in. These shoes are the exception. They're listed as "relaxed fit" and "extra wide fit". Foot slipped right in. The sole is built with a mild rocker last... it's gently curved as if you've already broken them in. Lotsa room in the toe box, and enough width to be instantly comfortable as I wore them the first time. Light, hopefully durable, looks good. Says "water repellent" - living in the PNW - we'll see. No wonder the Amazon page notes: "Customers usually keep this item."Cons... smell of the Goodyear sole "out-gassing"the volatiles present on synthetic rubber and plastic. I set them out in the sun for little more than a day and smell was diminished noticeable amount. But this is common with anything you buy that's made of plastic/synthetics.

Comfortable memory foam, nice looking low boot. Can wear out water resistance good support. Not a bad price for the boot . My husband really likes them. He likes the feel of the shoe- boot nice color brown. Sketchers are a must for him when it comes to support& comfort. Wearable for all day work,& wear nice slip resistant bottoms.

The boots fit and look great. However, I will need to replace the laces because they just won't stay tied tightly.

Good comfortable shoe that works! I drive a semi truck I'm constantly in and out of shippers in and out of the truck dropping trailers picking up trailers hunting for trailers on the yard, they're the best shoe that I've gotten Versace good price that actually doesn't hurt my feet feel comfortable all day, shifting gears getting in and out of the day cab walking on gravel and pavement even in the rain, I do not recommend getting your foot completely in a ditch but they work great and still look good when these wear out I will be buying some more immediately. Oh there's one thing, shoe strings to me are a little short, no big deal if I feel they are getting on my nerves a little bit I'll buy some longer shoe strings no problem, not a deal breaker at all.

I initially bought these to replace my 'yard work' boots, but I've decided I like them too much for that and now they are my main casual shoe.Initial reaction of the Skechers Men's Respected-Boswell Boot was their weight: VERY light compared to work boots, hiking boots or similar. The stitching and design is attractive and the sole is not aggressive but should fine for casual wear. Where these boot excel is in the comfort. They are very comfortable, even from the first wearing, with no real break-in period needed (for me, at least). These arrived just before a cross country road trip to Yellowstone National Park. These felt great driving and offered good comfort and stability walking around the park (and I do mean walking, as I did not engage in any serious rugged trail hikes during this trip).I would expect these to be water 'resistant', not water proof, which is consistent with the product description. The main component appears to be 'leather like" rubber based material as well as some leather accents on the upper. It looks nice, and actually will compliment all but the most dressy attire.But there is a negative I need to address: the smell. All new boots will have some amount of 'smell', either from the leather, glues, rubber or other components. Usually this dissipates withing a few days. Unfortunately, these boots took a long time to lose the rubber/leather smell. I think this was intensified by body heat, because the smell was very strong when taking them off. My feet/shoes never 'stank' before, but it was very apparent with these. It started to normalize after a week or so and even more so after adding an 'odor-eater' insole. I still love these boots, but buyers should expect an extended period of off-gassing. To me, the exemplary boot comfort far outweighs that minor inconvenience.

Husband loves these! He says they were comfortable right out of the box. They do great in snowy weather - still look nice. The sizing seems to be correct. We ordered his exact size. They look great on him!

my spouse loves these. he's VERRRY picky about getting a good pair of shoe at a reasonable price with no logos on them (he says he's not a billboard or the company should pay HIM). He liked these right out of the box when they arrived. lightweight, durable, felt great and again...NO LOGOS! Easy to get on and off too.

I have been a fan of Skechers so I’m familiar with their shoes. This model is relaxed for so a little wider than normal. Very comfortable and the Goodyear sole is very durable. I wear a 12 wide in most shoes and I ordered the regular 12 and it’s plenty room.
