Solid construction
Bought this for a small job removing a back disc brake. Did the job perfectly and was worth the purchase for the price I paid!

Broke on first use
One of the lugs broke off on first use.

Not for very tight things
Had to replace the metal plates that hold legs to centre and bolts as they either broke or pulled apart. Now it’s a lot stronger

Works with trailer brake drum removal
My brake drums for my Indespension trailer appeared stuck.... 12inch rims. The brake drums are about 8 inch across and the puller tools other than this appeared too small.Anyway, it just worked, and could have gone much wider, so for larger drum removals. I simply could not get the drum off my box trailer yesterday; this arrived and well, in moments it was removed, no need for the three legs, just two and without any effort - all done. I have found Hilka tools good in the past, this maintains that perception.Very pleased and added to the workshop tools rack, Oh and it is more sturdy that I expected!

Works but poor quality casting and parts! Do NOT recommend!
The media could not be loaded. It did the job I got it for this time but as you can see from the pictures the cast of the end of the bolt you use to expand it to pull the part off is VERY poor quality. Missing one complete corner of the hex at the top. Luckily I didn't need much force in the end so it didn't slip but VERY poor quality. Clearly not Quality control!Secondly the bolts and nuts used to attach the arms are a terrible design! There is no standoff! If you tighten them down fully you can't use it as the arms don't move and if you leave them lose the bolts work off during a small pull! I had two bolts fall off when the flywheel came free and I'd checked them first. This needs at LEAST locking bolts but better locking bolts with standoffs so the bolts can be fully tightened and the arms still freely move.
