We played the free sample story from the website first and then decided to get the full book. The game rules are reasonably easy to understand for non-rolepayers and we have played a few games with family members aged 8-65. The games are a bit long so we cut them short a bit, but still enjoyable and everybody had a good time.

This is my first ever experience of RPG outside of video games, soloing and I’ve got to say it’s more fun than I thought it would be. I’m still learning the rules as I play but they are easy enough to understand, So far my first character has been mauled by a witch, been turned evil by another witch, lost most of his money(he’s a prince so he started pretty wealthy Compared to other classes), but only death will stop him from finishing the quest he is on! As I’m solo I plan to make multiple characters and have them running the world at the same time, maybe helping each other - maybe not- i will finish every quest, but if my characters die then of course they can not come back, unless something in game can bring them back! Great fun!

This is an excellent game book, our whole family enjoy playing from age 4-70!I highly recommend it for hours of fantasy game play and fun
