removeable support = ease of use
Great for DIY shelving! With the unique removable diagonal support, it's much easier to work with. With other brackets, trying to drill screws in straight can be a pain, the support gets in the way. I'm making wall shelves using 8' 2x12 lumber. With two of these drilled into studs, I was able to sit my full 185 lbs on it with no issue. And the wood itself weighs 53 lbs so you're looking at close to 240 lbs, no problems. I intend to use this shelf for vinyl records which gets heavy, 100 records weighs about 50 lbs if I remember correctly. I intended to use 4 of these on four studs per shelf, but now I'm thinking 2 might just be sufficient as it seems rock solid. But I may do 4 anyway, as that would be completely impervious.Note: I strongly recommend using studs, not trying to hang shelves in just drywall, if there's going to be any weight at all. Also, I didn't use the included screws. I predrilled holes into the center of each stud using a drill (having carefully located the studs with a stud finder, and triple checked the marks), then drilled in self-tapping 2 1/2" #9 star drive screws I purchased separately from a hardware store. Please don't attempt to use Phillips head screws for a similar wood working project - they will want to strip, and you'll be pulling your hair out. I've learned doing my DIY projects that it's worth getting star drive/torx screws. Frankly, Phillips head screws should no longer exist. It's an inferior design, at least for woodworking, and very prone to stripping. Sure, if you pre-drill, are strong enough to keep the screw bit pressed tightly to the screw at all times, and know what you're doing, Phillips will work. But star drive and the like are just fundamentally superior for any project requiring larger/longer screws, and you truly get better results with much less struggle because the bit will tend to stay locked to the screw and not strip the crew, due to the design. Also, to me, these brackets look pretty good. I'll be ordering more to complete my other shelves

Good Shelving Bracket
Good Shelving Bracket. I you need a rust resistant bracket this is the one to have, it's made of heavy gauge stainless and is very sturdy once mounted properly to a good piece of wood.

Perfect for a sturdy install on a concrete wall.
They are perfect. I needed brackets that were sturdy enough for a shelf to hold laundry detergent so i could get everything off of the dryer. The removable gusset made it super easy for me to drive the tapcons and install on a concrete wall. I would definitely buy again.

Great brackets. One of six slightly bent and better screws would be a plus; still, good product!
These are very good shelf brackets. I ordered three pairs of the 12 inch size to be used with 14 inch deep shelves I built from plywood for a laundry room storage. The only reasons I didn’t give it five stars were (1) One of the six brackets was slightly bent/warped and so the front edge of it does not line up along the edge of the shelf as all of the others do nicely. If this was going in a more high visibility area, I probably would’ve returned just that one or ask them to replace just that one, but rather than go through all that hassle, since this is in the laundry room we’re only my wife and I are going to see it, I’ll let it slide this time. But it bugged me, since as a whole they are quite beautiful and well-made.And (2) the screws That it comes with, although they were all there and they had both the longer screws for the side you’ll anchor to a wall and the shorter ones for going into the shelf itself from underneath, they are not self drilling screws and they were Phillips head. Please, please, please, every company out there please listen: do not use slotted or Phillips screws anymore! Use screws that accept square or torx /star shaped driver bits! They are SOOOOOoooooooooo much better. It would probably add $1 or less to the cost of this product to provide high quality self-drilling Torx head screws. Yiu could even include a driver bit. People will love you even more for that. Phillips and slotted are so 20th century. Ugh. But the brackets seem to be great. Nice that I could put a couple hundred lbs per shelf no problem in these.
