Classy Invicta with a big dial
The media could not be loaded. Although on the smaller side for an Invicta at 48mm, the small bezel means this model's dial is actually larger than on many of their 50mm+ offerings. Consequently it's easy to read at a distance, or for those with poor vision. The subdials for day and date are a little harder to read, but also a decent size and personally I like the arrangement. But like many other Invictas, it's still a watch for larger wrists. Mine are just over 8 inches, and I feel that it's as big as I can get away with, as it is also tall lug to lug. I'm only at the 4th hole on the strap which is pretty unusual for me.However I do find it comfortable, and I think the strap is good quality. I note that some have found it stiff, but that should ease in time with a leather strap. It's a reasonably light watch for its size, and sits well.My favourite thing about the watch is the movement. It seems at some point in its history, this model was refreshed and the movement changed from one that required an adjustment pusher at the 2 o'clock position to this Seiko/Hattori VH64 movement that can adjust both day and date via the crown. This is a welcome improvement, as is the lovely sweep action of the second hand, similar to a low beat automatic, that I've captured in the clip. This a movement that can be found in much more expensive watches, but this watch was recently on deal sale for under £40 and is excellent value at that price. If you want to try an Invicta but aren't so keen on some of their flashier designs, I'd recommend this one. But I repeat, it is still a watch for bigger wrists.

Stylishly good value!
This is a well made watch. Great value. I think it looks really smart and not too ostentatious - and looks more expensive than it is. It isn't my primary watch, but it is used in regular rotation with others. I like the Invicta brand and am not a watch snob! The only slight downside is a personal one - I am not keen on leather straps, so i put a cheap Nato-style grey strap on the watch.Overall, recommended for the price.

A great watch for the price, but it is big
I've seen a review referring to this as a "medium size watch" and cannot imagine what that reviewer would think a big or large watch might be. I have quite a few watches and quite a few books on watches and this is simply the largest watch I know of. Having said that, I really like it and it is not too large, but it is large.I received the watch two days after ordering it on Amazon which I thought was pretty reasonable. However, it arrived with the hand for the day complication having fallen off and rattling around in the case between the dial and the crystal. I immediately filled out the return details on Amazon and was amazed to receive a fully working replacement the following day. Excellent service! The watch looks great and really classy at this price point. I really like that, for a quartz movement, the second hand has a continuous movement rather than a jump between seconds which is standard even for the more expensive quartz movements (e.g. Longines Conquest). I don't have any other watches with a quartz movement that do this. This is something that you would expect from a much more expensive mechanical/automatic movement. It's a great feature on this watch and makes it really stand out.I love the day and date complications, although the date numerals are so small that they are difficult to read. But it is a very novel way of presenting the day and date and I love it.

Very nice quality watch, Tough good looking everyday timepiece for a low price.
I've owned this watch for nearly four years now. I changed the battery once about a year ago.I see that there are a few reviews noting the fixing of the hands, fortunately this hasn't happened to me. As far as any problems go with running slow I believe many watches may sit on shelves as stock for months or years. Knowing that batteries have a life expectancy it wouldn't surprise me if a 'new' watch had a duff battery. It's happened to me.I really like this watch. The build quality is excellent for the price with a solid, heavy stainless case and screw down back, vital in a military type watch. It is large and a smaller wrist may not carry it off well. Amazon (as they mostly do) list the size (48mm) - If not other websites do. The dark face is perfect for reading the time at night and the hands are reasonably well lumed. The two day/date dials are better for me than the window type which are always a struggle to read without a magnifier. As the dials are set using two buttons rather than the stem it's a useful touch. - If I remember right it is an ISA movement.I don't wear it every day as I have too many watches but I have worn it solely for a period of five months. The glass, flat as it should be, is still in fine condition, even though I spend a lot of time outside working in far from ideal conditions.I have a number of Invicta watches, including the same model as this in gold/black face, and so far none has let me down. The strap is decent although mine all sport leather Zulu straps which I think suit this type of watch.(I also have two Stirling watches at about the same price that aren't even close to this quality)I would not care to vouch for the 100m /10atm WR without a screw down crown, but would be happy to wear it in the conditions advised for this rating; watersports(!), lengthy immersion etc.Highly recommended.

Beautiful watch and a steal at this price
Owning a couple of Invicta watches already I was looking for one that can be a general day to day use watch but still have the great build quality of the higher end models. This one turns out to be the perfect choice. Discreet, minimalist yet beautiful to look at everything from the calf leather strap through to the engraved Invicta logo on the stainless steel case is a dream to look at. Well built, well designed and quality materials. A great purchase.

Nice
My second Invicta watch and the better one, still quite large and heavy but more bearable. I like the the big fingers and large numbers as well as what appears to be raised lettering of Invicta makes it stand out.
