Great for my Engineering Degree.
I love this calculator.I also have the Casio fx-991EX Classwiz model which is easier to use in all fairness and has more functions, however I just hate how cheap it feels. The build quality of the Casio fx-991MS is far superior. From what I can see, this calculator still has all the functions you’ll ever need for A-Level Math and University.I would highly reccomend this particular model if your looking for a scientific calculator which will do everything you need but just not as easily as the Casio fx-991EX Classwiz model with its natural workbook display.

Lasts for years and never goes out of date.
Fantastic calculator which saw me through all of my Astrophysics courses. The library of Physical Constants is a particular delight.

Absolutely fantastic
I originally got this calculator when I started A-level maths. It proved very useful throughout the entire course. I then used it all the way through university where I was doing a maths degree. In all of that time I never found a function that it was unable to perform. It has a whole variety of different functions:It will integrate functions between 2 limits, differentiate a function to tell you the gradient at a point, find the value of a variable in any function you provide, manipulate matrices (find inverses, find determinants, multiply and add matrices), find roots of quadratic and cubic equations (and even provide the answers in terms of imaginary numbers if necessary), solve simultaneous equations, find standard deviations, variances, means, correlation coefficients. It also has many conversions and constants stored in it's memory.Best calculator I have ever used. I have borrowed various calculators from friends and always found them inferior to this one. This is the highest spec calculator that you can buy except for graphic calculators (which are illegal in exams). My one recommendation would be that you read the manual when you receive the calculator. You will miss out on many operations that this machine can perform if you do not read it.

Excellent Calculator
I;ve had this from GCSE all the way through to my undergraduate studies, and It is an amazing calculator. One of the only models that does calculus and also have scientific constants and a unit converter built right in. Combine that ith the dual power system, and you have a great calculator! It can also solve simultaneous equations (dont ask me how though!)
