Q: To be more direct for those not understanding, does it come with a spare lid as in the photo? Thanks

I have had my travelling Cafetiere / mug for many years ....I dont recall a separate lid & havent needed one either. The press screen [on the plunger] keeps the grounds at the bottom of the mug ........This is an excellent product , I would be lost without my fresh hot coffee every morning , while out in the van . ....it is almost as important as my mobile phone !!!!

Q: Does it make many coffee go on waste like the plastic model?

The only waste is from the granules. But it's coffee so find a plant pot and put the granules in it

Q: do you need to replace the filter or have any sort of filter in it?

Nope. The filter is attached to the plunger. Just wash/rinse it off after every use

Q: Does this come with a screw lid? The photos in the lower description appear to come with a screw-top, the plunger and a regular on-the-go type lid

It’s the regular on the go with the plunger. I’ve notice that with time it starts leaking around the lid.
