The best non locking trem ever!
What can I say? This is well designed, simple yet effective for nice tremolo effect. Super smooth and huge improvement over stock fender trem bridge. Incredibly smooth, just follow the instructions for an ez install. Brilliant!

Doesn't go badly out of tune when using tremolo violently. Quickest re-string possible.
THE best tremolo in the world, for strat style guitars in particular. No modifying guitar, simple to install. Quickest new string loading possible. Keeps traditional strat look. Doesn't go badly out of tune when violent with the trem. Only a FR locking system can get an edge for staying in tune, but think of the re-stringing pain with a FR. Scope for expression is best ever. Goes down to scratchplate and pulls up higher than any other trem without routing the guitar. Arm tension greatly variable. I've tried all top bridges in my strats. Vega is the best. rickstardownunder, RockGuitarist

Loosen the intonation screw on the saddle to adjust the action!
Easy to install! Smooth action both ways!I don't know if you can go full Vai on it, but, with locking tuners in place it seems to hold tuning really well! I tried about 10 full dive bombs...stays in in tune; but pulling it up may affect tuning (which is more so due to tuners). Definitely recommend! However, it would've been great if they had added a more detailed manual on how to adjust the action!Good thing there is youtube for everything. First, loosen the intonation screw - the big screw on the saddle which holds the saddle in place. Then, you can tweak smaller screws to raise the action.

Defective products NOT NEW !
The media could not be loaded. 2024/06/08 update:The “sliding” issue still remains !Not a plus feature as they said !Over all quality is average, screws especially the saddles M3 screws (see pic) stripes easily, had to replace with aftermarket M3 screws…When you push the trem bar, you can definitely move (slide) by hand the entire bloc, same when you change strings…Result : VT1 moves when after several dive bombs and in my case the entire bloc goes upward slightly 6th strings is too close to theFret ends and 6th string slide. Same, 1st strings moved upward too.Definitely a design problem ….I prefer the 1st order o made with fixed routed plate so saddles won’t move !2024/06/01 update:After email with Vega trem, they said the “sliding” is normal, it’s a plus feature, once installed bridge should not move : verified !I guess my first purchase was a “special VT1 😅” with fixed routed base plate ?Anyway I was refunded.Don’t stop jammin’ cheers !1. Received usedI EXPRESSLY ASKED THE Seller Kairon Guitar Shop to send me a NEW ONE before ordering and HE just SENT a defective one very angry !springs tensions don’t correspond with their labels, for example, extra low tension not in the right bag, tools are in another springs bag… evidence someone changed the original package !2. Unacceptable Quality issue !Routing in the plate too large, causing the whole tremolo to slide ! They knew it and sent a defective product I am in Taiwan who’s going to pay all returns shipping and taxes and most importantly I have recording sessions and teachings need my guitars for production. Kairon Guitat is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL !All this are completely UNACCEPTABLE

If you know, you know.
Perfect fit on my PRS and no need to deal with locking nuts or Floyd Rose microtuners.I wanted to be able to pull up on the whammy bar without having the bridge pointed / elevated so far forward, this fits perfectly in my PRS and allows another inch or so of play without having to rout and ruin the body.I love it. It comes with various size springs so if you use lighter or heavier strings the springs will hold the float in place. It's very sensitive and stays in tune well.Note that there are two different models, one for double post mounts and one for screw mounts, so make sure you get the correct one for your guitar. But wait, before you order, there are drawbacks which are the only reason I'm not giving it five stars:- You will lose some sustain. The block is small so it can do what it's supposed to do with the limited space it has. It's not that big a deal to me, PRS guitars are sustain monsters, but it may be for you.- The arm itself. It is poorly shaped. The angle that it sits in makes it very difficult to hold in the hand while picking without warbling the strings. Coming from a PRS where the arm is lower this is disappointing. I solved this by taking it to a friend's machine shop and bending it the way I want it.Also the arm sits very high off the trem and its height is not adjustable, making it doubly difficult to hold in the hand without warbling the strings. I solved this by pulling the little plastic bushing out of it which allows it to fit lower in the arm hole and more flush to the guitar.Lastly, the arm is loose and does not lock into place, as in, you can't tighten it so it leaves the arm in your favorite spot for easy grabbing. Let the arm go and gravity takes over and it flops back down. I solved this by replacing the above bushing with the rubber tip of one of those cheap capacitive styluses and jamming it in the arm hole, so now the arm is lower and it stays where I want it to be.If you are used to an arm that stays in place, is easier to hold in the hand and / or sits lower, you'll have to do some "engineering" of your own.Otherwise this thing is great!
