Gets hot or doesn't work
A good challenge to install would have looked great. Wires from the battery box became hot after very minimal use (less than a minute) and certain lights never worked. Other types of after-market Lego lights are available. We are going to stick with those instead.

Awful
The instruction are terrible and half the lights didn’t work. This is by far the worst light kit I’ve bought. Sent it back and will be going with a different brand.

Fiddly but effective lighting kit.
The media could not be loaded. This was my first effort at fitting a lighting kit to a Lego set and I think the Jazz Club was probably the most difficult one to choose. The connections are all really small but I just did a bit at a time so I didn’t get frustrated. The overall effect was amazing in the end. I’ll probably get a kit for another set, a simpler one hopefully. Would recommend if you have patience.
