This rucksack was bought as a replacement for a Jansport that saw me in the last 14yrs all over Europe and Asia. I needed a relatively spacious, sturdy rucksack that would perform in unfriendly conditions and this seems to fit the bill. Straps are wide and seem strong and buckles snap reassuringly home. The compression straps are an excellent addition that my old Jansport didn’t “sport”. The interior is well designed and there are lots of little nooks and crannies for storing those personal effects that everyone keeps in a rucksack. Those who consider this rucksack small should, I fear, have a think about what they imagine 28 litres to look like. There is plenty of space in here for a couple of days worth of well-packed clothes and toiletries and it will cope easily as a day pac. We’ve already tried it with the gear required for a day out with a toddler and there were no issues. Unfortunately Covid has prevented us from fully putting the bag through its paces in real life, but with the lifting of restrictions this is now very much on the agenda. I should point out, that I picked this up for £20 on an offer and at that price, it’s Truly unmissable. Even at £30 the quality is such that it is really worth considering if you want a practical, tough and sizeable rucksack rather than a piece of branded tat that falls apart as soon as it feels a load.

It's a great quality rucksack, albeit slightly smaller then what I was expecting but that's more of a personal issue.Enough compartments to keep my main bits of kit separate and after getting caught in a couple of thunderstorm I can say it's definitely waterproof.I've noticed it's not the most comfortable thing in the world when it comes to carrying heavier loads (15kg upwards) as the straps dig in somewhat but that again that's probably more of a personal issue

The rucksack was purchased for use as a carry all for clay pigeon shooting. I didn`t want to spend a lot of money on a rucksack because they do not traditionally last long in the type of situations we put them through: dogs, rain, branches, feet. I couldn`t believe how sturdy the bag was when it arrived. I feel that this bag will outlast any bags we bought for shooting over the years, and as cost half the price. Looks and feels nice quality, and very comfortable on the shoulder. A genuine bargain. I recommend anybody that enjoys outdoor pursuits, to buy one of these.

Great for my carp fishing bits if you are going on a days fishing and don’t want to take to much gear! I can fit just about everything you need for a days fishing! Good storage use and better quality than I was expecting for the price!

Zips have no water profiting and there is an access hole right at the top for some wires I assume but it’s big enough to get 2 fingers in so water getting into all compartments is an issue. Also the straps are quite narrow so not much weight transfer.
