Makita D-34855 5 Piece BiM Holesaw kit

Again got these for doing sheet metal work where holes are needed, if used carefully they will do a good job and last pretty well, have done about 50 holes with one of them alone, good value

Done the job easily in creatin ga suitable recessed hole in wood to allow a bolt/washer to be added. Very easy to use, cut thru the wood no problem at all. Looked fine on delivery, obviously now very worn/paint coming off, but aesthics dont bother me, it being able to produce tools is.Case is good and like that the pilot bit can also be removed (i was drill into where a bolt was already in place).Cant complain for the price. If I was using these reguarly and for more than one job, then that would make me recondisder my purchase, but for something that I'm only using occassionly and get the job done, yep, hits the mark!

I needed an accurate hole saw for a DIY job I was working on. The Makita set was just what I needed and at a price that was really cheap. I was put off at first due to the description on Amazon that states under the material 'Tough Plastic' which seemed a bit odd for cutting holes in metal, (this should be amended as they are actually good quality steel).Used one size to cut numerous holes in glass reinforced plastic (very abrasive), and all were very accurate.A really useful addition to my tool kit and at an incredibly good price. Highly recommended.

Two of the hole saws do not run true which results in a misaligned hole

Not up to Makita’s usual quality standards but does the job, although finished holes are slightly bigger than the tool.
