Pilot Fountain Pen Custom Heritage 912, Black Body, FA-Nib (FKVH-2MR-B-FA)

If you want to try something different then the 912 with the flexible falcon nib is well worth experiencing - it does wonders for your handwriting and especially if you are into calligraphy.Its not cheap and it isn’t available in the UK so you will have to pay customs charges and experience the delay of customs clearance - but if you know that in advance you can prepare yourself. The flexibility of the nib is almost like having a watercolour paint brush in your hand. As it’s such a wet line you need to make sure you are using a good quality paper to write on. I love it - it’s not an everyday writing pen but one in your hand you do want to keep using it and experimenting.

Just what I expected. Unfortunately CON 70 capacity is very low. My Mont Blanc (F nib) has enough ink for more than two weeks. My Pelikan M600 (B nib) as well. I refill 912 every 5 days. No railroads with Noodler's Prime of the Commons ink.

This is my first pen with such amazing flexing nib. For me it’s very soft, it doesn’t railroad if I don’t write too fast. Line variation is better than I’ve expected. I have no issues with a ink flow (I’m using Pilot Iroshizuku inks). It’s not a cheap pen, but definitely worth its price :-)
