Just needed one coat of Sheraton leather balsam and like magic, colour changed and looked smooth quality. I think it was packed up for too long but came out to be best leather after treatment. Smart look to it, so will be taking to work and with a suit. Had Visconti brands before for years, first class. Highly recommended brand, looks better with age.

I've been wanting a leather messenger style bag for some time now. I have a Tumi leather bag that I bought several years ago but I find it too bulky and too heavy these days. The Tumi was £350 12 years ago. I looked at some other bags, going up to £500 and just didn't think they represented money for value. I was amazed when I saw the price of this bag and opted for it based on the price, the look of it and the good reviews. I thought that at this price, I wasn't going to lose too much if it was poor quality or I didn't like it. I'm happy to say that I am extremely pleased with this bag. The quality at this price is very impressive. It's made from quality leather that is beautifully stitched and fitted with high quality brass fittings. It has just enough compartments to allow you to pack a small laptop, writing pad and other essentials into a medium sized, reasonably lightweight bag. Unbeknownst to me, a colleague at work has had the same bag for a while and I was happy to see that it ages very nicely.If you're not bothered about the cachet of an upmarket brand, then this is a really good bag for the price.

The best thing in this bag is that it remains it shape and always looks sharp. The material looks and feels like a really good quality. Before this bag I had some leather bags which lost their shape and became loose after some use. This bag will look the same, no matter how much stuff you put in it. I've even got some compliments in a middle of a day from random people telling me how cool bag I have.The bag would be perfect for me if it would be just a bit smaller and made of "normal" real leather instead of suede -like leather.With this price it is pretty hard to find any bag even close this good quality. I've been using the bag daily now for few weeks. It feels like durable and I hope it lasts. You can get a better bag if you are ready to pay more but with this price range I really recommend.

Extremely good bag, you would expect it to cost twice what it does.I purchased this bag in 2013 for my MacBook and it is still used today and still looks as good as it did the day it arrived. The leather is very thick and lined all the way around the inside which not only leaves a quality feel it also protects the contents from bumps. There are plenty of compartments inside and a quick access zipped compartment on the back which you can access without opening the pouch.The two pouches on the front hold an A5 notebook perfectly and the main compartment holds a 15 macbook with room for A4 notepads also.It's a comfy bag to carry and the sling is still in great condition, little stretching and still strong on the stitching.Only complaint is that if you wear the bag on your shoulder with light jeans you will end up with mark on your jeans from the bag rubbing against them, so just carry with the handle to avoid this.

Really happy with the case in terms of look, feel and quality of the leather. However all the metal fittings are thin and weak, if they improved the quality on these no doubt a 5* product. The shoulder strap broke carrying the weight of laptop and i have discarded it, and the buckles have bent but still usable. I have used the case for about 8 months now.

This has been very disappointing. The bag is well styled and I was initially pleased with it, however after 1 year with moderate use the binding has worn through exposing rope on the underside, which for me means it is no longer usable. For the price of this I expected far more longevity from the bag. I am sad to say i would not recommend.

This is the 2nd 'man bag' I've had to simply carry paperwork and an iPad or MacBook but I knew the handle would fail like others before it and it did.When you have a handle stitched to the top in this way all the weight goes through the first set of stitches and when they eventually give up, the rest open like a zip. The cheap rivet wasn't enough to take the load either. I was very careful and used the shoulder strap when it felt heavy but a gentle tug as I got it out the car and it went. If only they would change the design it should last a lifetime. Just bought a Kattee bag with dual handles that spread the load and they should last longer....

This is really a very nice bag! I will spare you the details about how awesome it is and just give you the few things I find most important compared to the other reviews:1) I have only had this bag for a couple of week, but I have experienced ABSOLUTELY no problems with colors coming off to anything.2) The bag is a little smaller than I expected - wouldn't be sure to get a 17" laptop in without an effort - but it will fit a 15.6" nicely (I fit a 13.3" MacBook Pro in a sleeve with room to spare in width/height). It is also not extremely deep, but it fits my MacBook, charger and launch nicely. Might expand more if I try to get more in there.All in all a very nice looking, good quality bag as long as you are not hoping to bring your entire workspace/personal library with you.
