A miracle product, let me sell you on my favorite lotion!
I have bought this stuff over and over, because it's inexpensive, and it's replaced SO many things in my medicine cabinet. I use it for:Lotion- emu oil penetrates your skin because it has the same composition as human oils, and it feels GREAT!Sunburns- Aloe wears off after a few minutes. Emu oil takes the sting out for HOURS, and it rejuvenates the skin to help keep it from peeling.Deep conditioning- I rub it in my hair and put a blow-dryer on it, to give it a hot oil treatment. My hair is smooth, shiny, and soft as all get out for a week afterwards.Light conditioning- I smooth the frizz when I've just rubbed some on my hands, it tames the cow licks.Cuts- Emu oil is actually antibacterial! It works like neosporin, I rub it on a cut to keep the skin supple so it can close, and it keeps the cut from getting infected.Acne treatment- I'm prone to adult acne on my face, and the antibacterial nature of Emu oil keeps my face from breaking out. It also seems to decrease the appearance of my crow's feet.I realize I sound like an ad for this stuff, but that's because I love it SO much. I always have a small bottle to give to other people, and I know it's not just me because they have all told me how much they love it, particularly for acne treatment and sunburns. So far I've converted over a dozen friends to emu oil, some of whom even use it on their dogs! It sounds too good to be true, but I swear, if you try it...you will believe it!I have only heard ONE complaint- one or two people have told me they didn't care for the smell (I don't smell it), but I corrected that by warming it a bit until it was liquid, then mixing in a few drops of essential oil they liked. Subtle smell, gone!

This is my new favorite product
This seems to me to be exactly the same as the sample of oil that I received from a high priced source... priced at $149 for only 2 ounces. That sample really impressed me but I just couldn't afford to pay that price, so I started looking for alternatives on Amazon. This brand got the best reviews for being cleanest and not having any odor and I certainly have not been disappointed with it after using it for over two weeks. I don't detect any smell at all, and I am very sensitive to smells. Also my skin is extremely sensitive. When I run out of my current version of face oil and eye cream I plan to replace both with this. Feels like it's going on greasy, but soaks in pretty fast. What I am most impressed with though, and why I bought it, is to use on a large scar from recent abdominal surgery. We will see what happens in another month, but it is definitely not hurting and could be helping. The doctor was happy with my progress so far. I have been using this instead of the scar treatment that I was planning to use until someone suggested emu oil. It is also supposed to be great for inflammation and sore muscles, so I've been putting it on my bad knee (hit by car in 1970) and seems to help with that too. If I had not found such an affordable price I would not be able to use as much of this and probably would not be having the same results.I will definitely reorder at least once, but this might be something that I will keep on hand for the rest of my life.

Oil
The oil applies easily, does not have an odor, and does not leave an oily feel. And, it does provide dryness relief.

Soothing
I really like this product. It is very soothing and I have had no sensitivity to it. I have severely dry skin. I mixed this with honey and some rock salt (any will do) to make a body scrub for the shower. It leaves my skin very moisturized and smooth. I put it on my face prior to washing it with a mild cleanser and I feel it does a nice job of softening my face prior to serum and moisturizer. Whether it has actual reconstructive healing aspects I couldn't say. The only drawback is it is greasy but, if you pat dry with a towel it really helps. There is no odor at all.

Useful in lots of ways!
Emu oil comes from the rendered and refined fat of the emu bird which has wonderful healing properties that are passed along through Emu oil. I had Mohs surgery on a basal cell carcinoma on my cheek and rubbed Emu oil on it daily. Six months later, the scar (fifteen stitches) was almost unnoticeable. Lastly, I wipe my oily hands over the soles of my feet. As I am a sandal-wearer six months a year, my soles get very tough and brittle. The emu oil provides a wonderful softening to them especially right after a shower when the pores are open. Before I used the emu oil my soles were callused with skin that was as brittle as old plastic. Pieces would break off in my hands. Here are some uses I found on the web: Some people apply emu oil to the skin for relief from sore muscles, aching joints, pain or inflammation, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, shin splints, and gout. You can put it on topically to improve healing of wounds, cuts, burns from radiation therapy and reduce bruises and stretch marks. The emu oil has tenderized (and civilized) the soles of my feet. Check it out. You won't be sorry.
