The book contains more than 50 short summaries of important saints, Church traditions and practices, prayers and feast days, and the life of Jesus that are easy to understand and explain to children. Many of the summaries end with several simple related questions to ask children (with suggested answers provided.) One particularly interesting and useful chapter deals with Church Etiquette. The book, which is 8 1/2 by 11 inches in size, is full of high-quality color illustrations that bring the subject matter to life. The tone of the book is simple, engaging, and reverential without being triumphalist or proselytizing. Frankly, it is also a useful refresher course for many adults. Most definitely recommended.

I’ve noticed a lot of the dates (particularly saints feast days) are not printed. It will say, “we celebrate st so-and-so on October _”I think it would’ve benefitted from some better editing, but the information is great.
