Ernie Ball Earthwood Light 12-String 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings - 9-46 Gauge

These strings are great and high quality offer a nice range in sound there not to bassey or not to much treble. With lots of playing they have still maintained a good tone and sound clear. The strings aren't bulky so are comfortable to play. Because they are light those solos are easy to perform and the string bend with ease. Look good on the guitar with a nice bronze and steel finish. They give that sweet sound that Any guitar needs.

If you're wondering "hmm should I get these?" like i was then, yes. you should. I find them very light to play with a clean tone. you won't be disappointed 🤘

Bought these for our son who plays a lot of acoustic guitar. He has given them four stars because he says they're long lasting and don't dirty up too quickly. One star was removed because they are quite expensive compared to other similar strings and it's possible you're paying a bit for the Ernie Ball name.

Great reliable strings, comfortable to play and look great. I was worried about using a slightly higher gauge on my Parlour size, but have had no problems.

For a product in this price range, the sound quality is stunning. Plus, the colour coded ends of the strings make installation a breeze.Will definitely be my go to guitar strings going forward.

Nice tone for smaller acoustic guitar

Most string sets do a good job. A manufactuer of such specialist items would not be in business without some earned respect from musicians. In the end it comes down to personal taste for the sounds you get from strings, and they all sound quite similar on any given guitar - it's the guitar that gives strings their "sound".This makes it hard to zero in on why some work better than others *for us*. All I can really say is that these lifted an Ibanez acoustic that spent more time sitting around than being played, into something I play a lot more often now because something has changed in the sound of the instrument for the better.Maybe it's just the newness of the strings, but there's a nice body to the sound now, one that makes it worth playing more often!

Super happy with these stringsThey’re bright and light which for a younger player really helps him to fret his playing betterDownside - as they’re light, the E is going to be prone to snapping but that’s a trade off - but it’s doing fine to dateThe old thicker ones did give the guitar a deep warm tone, the light/brighter has lost that but it’s different not bad

Electric guitar players will find that these strings are a quick tune up that allows your old acoustic guitar to be played much much much more like an electric guitar. Transforms the stiff acoustic into a softer playing instrument much more compatible with electric playing style.Also the sound of these rock / blues strings is a little different. The phosphor ones might sound a little soft, but the 80/20 bronze are distinctly brighter sounding on my guitars.My Yamaha parlor’ish csf1m crimson red small form acoustic guitar sounds great with these strings: bright, loud, clear, very musical. The csf1 crimson red is a little known jewel in the distinguished Yamaha acoustic line up. It also comes with a very high class sturdy Yamaha gig bag. Awesome gig bag.My Yamaha Ac3r stage acoustic is much larger and this also sounds great, bright, clear, and resonant with these strings and it feels a lot more like an electric with the nice profile Yamaha neck. Nice slim neck. It is a rocking combination, especially when amplified.Amplified these strings actually come into their own best realm where their characteristic feel comes into play. The sound is awesome, enhanced by the easy bendability and sensitivity.Unamplified the bronze version sound great to me during leisurely playing. I am accustomed to the sound and feel of these strings.These strings are extremely resistant to breaking under very very energy intense playing. Ernie Ball is known for making nearly unbreakable guitar strings.
