Our Generation BD61007C1Z Retro Doll, Terry, Pink, Navy & White Jacket

My daughter was very excited to see this doll as it has the same hair, eyes and basketball top as her. She calls it her twin. It actually came with its hair in bunches (not down). She likes it like this so when she trapped the dolls hair in her backpack, I had to re-tie the hair - turns out a tangle teezer type brush works well and doesnt put its hair out. The jacket on the doll was actually stitched on with 3 stitches; we had to cut the stitching with scissors to take the jacket off (not hard to do but not what I’d want to have done really for a doll that you can buy a change of clothes for). It was easy to get the doll out of the box though. The doll doesn’t do much. It’s not the easiest thing to move I.e. it doesn’t like to bend to sit. It’s really just a standing doll which can move it’s joints a bit & can close its eyes when you lie it down. No frills. It’s quite expensive really for what you get (especially if you go on to want accessories) but kids love them and they are pretty. We have 3 of these types of dolls. Defo look around at pricing in diff places. Overall, my daughter is happy with them, is taking them with her, she uses 2 of them a lot as they are of course ‘best friends’ and now the dolls have matching nightwear which can be bought separately, so she sleeps with them.
