no fuss no long instructions .well made easy to install..does the job..took 2 minutes..drill hole place peep hole..!

Great product.
Works well and now installed in my door. On packaging, it says requires a 12.5mm drill bit. Fortunately, a cheap 12mm flat wood drill bit from Screwfix was sufficient to do the job. Just be careful that you don't unscrew the lens casing as well, as will be very difficult to reassemble, as I found out for myself. Unlikely it will happen to you, but trust my luck!

Well made Door Viewer
Solid & well made. Direct replacement for old Chubb viewer. Excellent clear & bright view. Wide viewing angle.ERA are known for their well engineered locks, & this Door viewer is engineered to a high specification. All threads are smooth with no slack or free play, Easy fit direct replacement.

Now, what do I do with it?
I'm happy enough with the product but, since I do not have a drill, I am trying to get a joiner to install it. Despite their adverts, some jobs ARE too small!

Fell apart quicker than my mind did in my school exams
Bought this to replace a ring doorbell spy hole type device as I was moving home and planning to take the ring device with me. This seemed to be good on paper, so to speak, so i bought it. When it arrived I regretted it straight away as it fell apart and the two tiny 'lenses' in the front fell out and disappeared under the table and chairs ... I then spent time finding them and put them back into thespy hole and screwed the end back on ... only for the end to fall apart again .... Then i just gave up and vacuumed the 'lenses' up and threw the main body in the bin ....Take my advice ... stay well clear of this unless you enjoy searching for small transparent specs in your carpet ...

Poor View
Sorry but in trying to install the item,bits fell out and despite trying I couldn’t get them back in place.You get what you pay for and I ended up buying two but they are not large enough for a good view
