I am new to airbrushing, make a lot of mistakes and have t clean airbrush a lot. This kit is perfect.

This kit contains a number of items to assist in cleaning your airbrush which are of varying levels of usefulness. It consists of the following items:A nozzle spanner - incredibly useful, IMO an essential item for any Iwata airbrush owner, makes removing and re-attaching the nozzle for cleaning a doddle and virtually eliminates the risk of cross threadingMagnifier - the primary use is for inspecting the tip of your airbrush needle for any damage, another handy toolAirbrush cleaning wipes - basically wet wipes impregnated with airbrush cleaning fluid. As mentioned by another reviewer they are a little soapy but are intended for use at the end of an airbrushing session so I don't think this is an issue.A tiny tube of lubricant - I've used it a couple of times on my airbrush trigger but I'm not convinced it made any differenceSmall bottle of Medea airbrush cleaner - not impressed with this at all, I get better results from Vallejo and UMP airbrush cleanerSmall cleaning brushes - aka intradental brushes, very useful but can be picked up pretty much anywherePipe cleaners - too thick to be of any useA useful box to keep it all in, with room for storing other airbrush cleaning kit such as reamers, additional brushes and cleaning needlesAssuming you would make use of both the spanner and the magnifier, this is a useful kit to have, although both these items can be bought separately (as can everything else in the kit) so do bear in mind the prices before making your decision. The price of this kit does fluctuate and seem to vary between £20 (highly recommended at this price) and £30 or more (overpriced).

The kit contains useful items to clean the airbrush. The magnifying glass and light isn't that great. You can buy separate cleaning products to do the same job.

I have previously only used the 2.99 steel brushes and some lacquer thinner to clean my Badger airbrushes. But when I upgraded to higher quality brushes, I found that I didn't have the tools to properly maintain them.One of the major concerns is that the nozzle of an average Iwata is pretty narrow, too narrow for steel brushes to get into. So, the Dentek brushes that come in this kit solve that problem. They've held up well so far; I've only had to bend them back to straight after each use.The other gem in this, is the wrench key. It really makes threading the nozzle of an HP-C+ less of a stress. The magnifying glass is a bit of a vanity bonus. I've used it to check the tips of my needles, and to ensure I'm not abusing them. Its carried over into hobby work too, being able to verify and correct small mistakes.The pipe cleaners are good for cleaning the back half of the brush, needle packing to the rear. And the Iwata cleaner is one of the best I've used for acrylics. The case is great, gives me a place to keep everything.I highly recommend this kit. Especially if you use Iwata brushes.

Nice kit. It’s nothing I couldn’t have done myself but it was nice to have it all laid out for you. Bonus is it has a tool that costs more by itself than the kit!
