Requires custom tamper to work.
This basket cannot be tamped with a regular 58mm tamper.7-8 grams of coffee, packed tightly, completly fit inside the bottom portion of the basket (see pictures).A normal tamper just presses against the metal, applying no force at all to the coffee.The bottom chamber is 39mm wide, there is no standard tamper for it.Only after i made a custom 37.5 mm tamper for it, was I able to tamp the coffee in it and get a decent espresso with it.With a suitable tamper it is a nice basket though.
