Works with 2015 Elantra and updated anti-theft car firmware and Dorman programmer.
I have a 2015 Elantra that the Dealer updated the car firmware with anti-theft routine that requires the door to be unlocked with the FOB or the engine won't start and the horn will start honking. So it is imperative to have a working FOB. Recently my main FOB failed I ordered a Dorman 99104 Keyless Entry Remote FOB from Ebay because it wasn't available from Amazon. I was able to program THIS MechanMagic FOB I ordered form Amazon with the Dorman programmer. Note if you are going to try this for your updated Elantra be advise that the when the Dorman instructions indicate that the 4 way beep and the door will lock (which did before when previously purchased the Dorman) the 4 way flashes and the programmer beeps but the door will not lock until you pull the programmer and repeatedly hit the lock button until the doors lock be sure to reprogram all FOBs old and new to flashing 4 way beep because the programmer resets the code. I am going to use this MechanMagic from Amazon as my main FOB and keep my Dorman as Backup and original FOB (which was backup to the one was using which I broke) as backup to the Dorman. I will advise as to the reliability the Amazon MechanMagic if required I will update.

Works well on 2013 Elantra. Must have key fob programmer sold separately now. They used to ship with a free programmer.

This Device needs a locksmith, even then there is no Guarantee!
This Device needs to be done through a Locksmith, which I did not know, and then can vary on synching it properly. The instructions send you to a locksmith, and it turned out to be a costly endeavor, and in the end, I was told this product cannot be synched properly to certain cars, so it did not work for me, even though it stated it was the right product for my vehicle, it turned out not to be. Please be Aware!

Easy to program.
Missing one fob for lil 14 Sonata we picked up as 3rd car. Have a scanner that went up to 2011 and it quickly programmed it to our Hyundai Sonata.. other fob we had didn't have any numbers on it to compare so we took a chance and it works perfectly.

Auto Locksmith Would Not Warrant
Exactly as Titled -- particular Auto Locksmith (recommended by auto mechanic) would not warrant job using outside-sourced Fob. Yet, full warranty w fob provided by locksmith!!! Just a heads up...

Saved lots of money!
I didn’t have to purchase the real thing from my car dealership. We were able to put our original small motherboard into this shell and it worked perfectly!!!!
