Top customer service from Root Naturally
First bag shipped with Subscribe and Save was the wrong size, but luckily for me Root Naturally actually care about their customers and overnighted the correct sized bag... have had to fight over these types of things with a few other companies but not this time. This stuff mixes up into a dark liquid that must be adding something my cuurent organics is missing, several of the less hardy plants/new seedlings perked and greened up even though the house temps went way down recently.Mixed just over 5 tablespoons (2 ounces by weight) of TeraVita SP-90 powder into a quart of water and mixed for a few minutes. Then I used 2 tablespoons of that delicous liquid and mixed into a gallon of water that already had 1 tablespoon of Dr Earth Pot of Gold 1-1-1 in it.Watered into soil and sprayed plants directly (dark liquid might stain, be careful of overspray and dripping)Great addition to the organics I use like Fish Hydroslate, Dr Earth Pot of Gold, Seaweed, bat bird and worm castings, buffaloam, and azomite lava rock dust.

Great start to a Montana garden
Interesting stuff ! I love plant potions so when spring planting rolled around up here in Montana, I used the humid acid to give myveggies a great start. So far it seems to have worked very well indeed. Stronger. Bigger. Tasty so far. I'll follow up in the fall.

OUTSTANDING bang for the buck!
OUTSTANDING bang for the buck. STOP buying pre-mixed liquid Humic Acid, and mix your own. If measured right, and no spills, you get 4 gallons of concentrated liquid from the powder. Why pay extra for water?WARNING!! This powder is extra dry, fine, flows like talcum powder, and sticks to everything it comes in contact with like leaked copier toner. When making your concentrate, fill container 1/4-1/3 with water first. Add Humic acid, shake very well to dilute, and to prevent sticking and clumping on the bottom, then top off. Shake again to mix well, and go for it.USE AS DIRECTED, and you will NOT be disappointed. A little goes a long way. Plants, shrubs, and lawn react to this stuff like Popeye throwing back a can of spinach. I haven't noticed any signs of burning or harming lawn, shrubs, or garden plants. This little bag should last the rest of this season, and most of the next. I will definitely buy again when the time comes.

Time to watch grass grow.
This is my first time trying this product, or adding any humic acid or humate to my lawn. I'm looking forward to the results. I may have missed it, but the bag didn't seem resealable. I just applied some to my lawn yesterday immediately after spreading some granular fertilizer. It dissolved very well in water. If you've never used this product before, here are my tips.TIP#1: Wear a mask so you don't inhale the powder. It is extremely dusty. I found this out from other reviews. If you do things slowly enough you will avoid the black, dust cloud.TIP#2: Get a jar or container with a large opening. The container should be large enough to hold the 2 pounds of product. I split mine into two food containers. This makes it easy to store and use later.TIP#3: Find a place that you don't mind getting messy, or use a plastic drop cloth, or tarp when making the liquid concentrate. Do NOT do this outdoors or where there is any kind amount of wind. I mixed it in the garage with the door closed.TIP#4: Make only as much liquid concentrate as you'll need for a year. 2 lbs of powder makes 4 gallons of liquid concentrate. For Foilage feed, the instructions recommend using 1-2 fl. oz. of liquid concentrate per 1000 sq. ft. A cheap funnel can be used to help pour the liquid concentrate into your long term storage container (a water bottle in my case).I made 1 quart and stored it in a 1 quart water bottle with a screw on cap. Since it's a very fine powder, it does clump. However, don't worry about it. Just keep mixing and it will eventually dissolve. I mixed it for 5-10 minutes for it to completely dissolve.I'm in Minnesota and have a Kentucky bluegrass lawn, the majority of which gets a LOT of sun. The land was graded and the sod added without any top dressing. The soil type is clay and I believe it's very compacted in some areas. During the summer I can easily see where the lawn is struggling due to lack of water, and it doesn't matter how much I water the area. I'll update the review with my observations.

Works nice with compost tea
I used as directed. I put 8oz, in a gallon of water. Than would need to shake the bottle before use. I advise to add slowly, and to be about half full of water. Add water as needed until it is fully dissolved. Make sure to shake the jug from time to time, or it can become thick. I would add small amounts of this mix to water, or concoctions. Works nice with compost tea!I can see a major difference to my gardens when I used this. I used in soil. I used this in mixes of my own concoctions. Depending on what i was feeding. In research this greatly helps up take of nutrition to the plants through roots or leaves. I used on the roots, and as a foliar feedings. Plants love it!

Not as advertised
I've ordered this same 2 pound bag twice and both times it had the 85 percent humic acid and the site says 90. It would not trust this vendor.

Very fine powder sucks when it spills
It got here right on time ,unfortunately the humic acid bag split and spilled a good amount in the box. this stuff is messy when you get it on you. overall the package seems to be as advertised. the product itself looks of good quality definitely comes with enough to last a very long time . But not for me since half is in the box lol
