Tough enough for dogs!
I'm a big rugby fan and my dog is also. She will always choose egg shaped over round! I bought her a size 4 so it was a bit easier to handle, but she couldn't get her mouth fully round it.I know this ball is not designed for it and much cheaper alternatives are made for dog toys. However, if I'm kicking a rugby ball it is going to be a Gilbert! Every testament to it though, it has lasted several months now, longer than the dog equivalents! Pure quality in build!

I bought this for my 5 year old. He can handle this size of ball well. No problems in catching or passing (he even gives it a bit of spin). So for him its ideal.One thing to note though, the colour (red in my case) does seem to wear quickly which I was surprised at! Hence only 4 stars.

Not Gilbert's finest
Not bad, not a perfect Gilbert but an okay training ball. The red did scuff off on surfaces and the ball printing not perfect. I've played with Gilbert's balls for decades and very nice balls they are too.
