dangerous
the ends that have rubber support the bolt and washer that hold the ends on red rail are loose and ended up breaking off ,had to redo them so after that I got back up and tried again got it positioned on vehicle which is a 2004 free star van trying to replace transmission , when trying to crank adjuster screws that have red knobs the one on transmission side on engine started to strip and would not adjust so if your in the market for one of these please do your research ,this brand is junk and very dangerous ,by the way came with no instructions had to use pic to put together . I would not give a single star but won't let me .aso won't let me leave photos .

It's a must have tool
The thing I really love about this is that there are dedicated bearings for the screw lifts. Probably built, nice welds, nice powder coat paint job and a price that doesn't hit Triple digits. And it's a must have if you're dropping the Cradle or you need to suspend the engine for any of the reason. I'm out here doing mobile repair for people, you can see the beach in the background it was such a cool job. I have owned three different engine braces before, and they are back at home a thousand miles away. Had to buy another one so I decided to go with the design that was a bit different than the other ones, and I love this one far better than the others I have. Some of the things I had to do was chase the threads on the feet attachments, and also you insert these rubber blocks into the bottom of the feet, and two of them they would just slip in and out they didn't have the exact correct space in between them, all you have to do is slightly hit it with a hammer to bend them in a little bit and you're good to go. I dropped a tiny bit of Gun oil on the bearing, just slightly lubricate them even though they already have light lubrication. I like how the spindle part is cupped and goes over the bearing and it totally protects the bearing from rain if you're doing something outside! We had rain going over Daytona Beach when I was doing the job, and I knew it was coming, and I wasn't afraid of leaving it out there for that quick half hour rain.

Performs as expected, mostly
I was impressed with the strength of the bar and pieces. Easy enough to assemble except for some of the threads that were not machined well, I had to run a tap and die over some of the threads to smooth them out. I do like the fact that there are small bearings for the lift screws which makes it easier to spin with weight of the engine on it once the threads are cleaned up. The parts do look and feel very strong and the finish is nice and smooth. You must make sure that the uprights are perfectly vertical and the weight of the engine doesn’t have any side pull so there’s no chance of it shifting and as with any support bar of this type.Overall for the price it’s a good solid engine support bar that could use a little better quality control with the threads.
