it was pretty straight forward to install and looks good but it uses digital octopus videos as install videos not sure if these two companies are affiliated with one another ...but i would like to know if there is a loader app for the android auto that can mirror the phone apple car play side of it seems to work fine but the android side is kind of generic and on the digital octopus video the loader screen is totally different you can see the car on the screen and change its color you have an rpm and speed guage on the head unit the entire app layout is different than this stereo so i was wondering if you are using their install videos and all of that on the site you are selling from and every video is a digital octopus install and setup video then why can i not find what loader app to download to get the same effect if you have any information on this subject it would be great as i paid over 1050$ for a stereo unit that seems not to have the same loading system as advertised in the ad prior to buying it but shows videos of install and set up of a totally different screen setup: UPDATE...The radio unit that I received is a Qualcomm version of the unit and is an upgraded version of the unit and has been changed a little bit I've been using it for right about a year now with no issues so far works very well if anyone has any installation questions or wants to know specific details i would be happy to try and answer any questions and may put up an install video if enough people are interested so far it has been a great upgrade from the factory head unit and I'd say for the price and features it's definitely worth the investment not to mention the compliments you'll receive on such a clean look and updated style

Device is extremely staticy to the point all you hear is static and can barely hear the music or gps. Even if neither music or gps is on, you still have static. Tried moving the antenna to decrease this and nothing works. It isn’t user friendly. Example, the A/C functions are difficult to get to and then maneuver through the option to select air flow, and all the settings. Extremely hard and can’t drive and put the AC. Accident waiting to happen

Received as a Christmas gift for my Camaro and I really like it. Installation went okay once I got past worrying about unused connections. They include many alternate cables that don't apply to Camaros. Other than that, just follow the colors and connection types. You can't accidentally connect anything wrong. In one case I plugged into a USB connection and the feature didn't work, I moved it to the other USB and it worked.Downsides: I wish it booted faster. It takes about 45 seconds before it is fully available. This means the backup camera doesn't work for 45 seconds after you start the engine. You can use some of that time buckling your seatbelt and checking your mirrors, but you still wait for it to go "live". Seccondly - two of my car's features don't work. The mute button on the steering wheel doesn't work although the volume controls do work. And, the automatic volume adjusting with car speed no longer functions. Other than that, everything else works.I was happy that I also gained four new gauges on the Home display that I didn't have before. Engine Oil Temperature, Oil Pressure, Battery Voltage, and Transmission Fluid Temperature. Very nice little bonus.It interfaced nicely with my iPhone XS Max originally and I just replaced that phone with a Motorola Edge+2023 and the Android operating system. That works just fine as well. I can use Sirius XM from the phone, I-Heart Radio, Google Maps, etc. And I can play music from my flash drive.Air Conditioning controls are a bit clumsy to get to while driving but once you are used to them, it's not that bad. Otherwise, be patient and get used to finding all the features. Spend a half hour or so parked and just exploring everything. Example, it took me a while to find the rear defroster control, especially in "dark" mode. But now I know where it is.In summary, I love it! Nice addition to my Camaro.

The media could not be loaded. The equipment came packed nicely and all parts available! Easy install no issues. Love the system

everything looks great by my ac controls are greyed out, and it ask for a pin. does anyone know what that’s about?

Is it better than the stock head unit? You bet. However the operation is very "clunky". For $1k, it should be perfect. The FM radio on my unit changes frequency by itself, the unit will randomly decide to switch from Android auto audio to the horrible built in playlist, when in Android auto the screen often freezes and has to be reset. The controls can be hard to use or switch between because of where they're located. I would have returned it, but I don't drive my car very often and it genuinely took me 3 months to trial it and make sure the problems weren't me.

Audio unit is excellent still learning with it, but if you buy the cluster for the Camaro, try to get a code or something so the cluster and the radio works With each other, I have this set and they have a conflict sometimes the radio come on sometimes it won’t. But I love the cluster and the radio. I’ll figure out how to make it work and then I’ll let people know. I still have not got a reply from the company so I guess I’m SOL for my question that I had sent them.

I love this radio and how it looks but I need to find the code for factory settings. My back up sensors are not working :(
