Best Garden Gloves for Missouri
Missouri Dirt "eats" gloves. It's full of flint or "chert" that has knife like edges ((used to be used to make arrowheads).I had bought another pair of expensive gloves hoping the would hold up but After buying them in May by June, stitches were popped and holes were showing. I'm not a commercial grower but I do have a large hobby garden done mostly by hand.I will admit I've only used these gloves half a season so far (will update review next year) but so far other than being dirty they're totally undamaged, not a single stitch popped, no holes, not even a good scuff mark. They are expensive but I have arthritis in both hands so I need the protection.I was at first worried about the blouse cuff, being used to the Velcro strap type but they work wonderfully. I got the X large size as I usually ave a hard time finding gloves that I can get into, these are snug but I like them that way. I don't intentionally abuse them but I feel like I don't need to worry about them at all.If I had any feedback it would be two things1. Perhaps a model with more padding in the palm and fingers2 Maybe a different color like hunter orange (They've gotten dirty and I'm concerned I'll lose them)You won't be displeased with these for toughness, The Terminator of Gloves!

These are the gloves the pros wear.
30+ year engineer/paramedic, rescue tech with extensive experience in auto x, I’ve tried many of the other brands of auto X gloves & NONE of them compare to these. My previous pair lasted about 5 years with frequent use both on the training ground & calls & I expect to get as many years out of these as well. I probably won’t ever use anything else.

DON'T wipe your nose with these gloves on!!!
I have used these gloves for many, many years and they are great. Good dexterity and durability. Palms, fingers and knuckle areas have very rough grit panels that hold up well to wear and grip well. But if you forget about these panels and wipe your nose with the back of your hand, you might lose some skin! The colored fabric is not heat resistant, it will melt. the leather gets very stiff after being wet, but loosens with use.

Almost Perfect
I’ve had these gloves for about 3 years now, the price is decent for quality. The grip is unique and very protective at the same time. I’ve worked dozens of vehicle crashes, directly handling glass and sharp metal with no punctures. The fit is good, they are lightweight and versatile. There is an elastic band in the gauntlet that keeps debris and shards out. I like the color and design, they are visible and professional looking unlike hunting camouflage or bone and skull patterned gloves. My only complaint is where the index finger merges at the palm there was a sharp piece of hard rubber that was pretty uncomfortable, especially in a spot that sees a lot of action while gripping tools. I was able to invert the gloves and trim it smooth, which it still isn’t perfect but at least not painful or causing a blister anymore. Overall, there may be more comfortable gloves out there, but these protect very well so I’d still recommend these for extrication.

Fit was great, not too big a fan of the rubber ...
The new style has Kevlar across the whole black surface of the glove, now! Fit was great, not too big a fan of the rubber bumpers on the fingers, but I will continue to buy these gloves based on previous purchases until the company goes under. Worth every penny!

Not protecting against sharp objects
After using it just few times it looked like the protective layer in couple of fingers was gone. It wasn’t protecting anymore against sharp objects. Had to return it.

Great Gloves, flexible and tough
Great for handling hot light bulbs, and Hot Lizards, my grumpy Gila try’s to nail me and grabs the big thick rubber finger protectors.Very flexible so I can handl him with them on, great gloves.
