Relatively easy to use to fix my fairly ancient Henderson garage door(with a broken wire), using a little ingenuity and the brief but clear instructions! Now works perfectly and much better than before, but probably because it has now been serviced as well and well oiled. Would thoroughly recommend.

Item was delivered on time and was perfect for what I needed. Easy enough for a DIYer to fit. 10/10

Good qaulity, reasonably easy to fit, just have to release tension on spring first, good value for money picture does show 2 long tentioning pins, Allen key, and centre punch, these where not in the kit that was sent to me, so make sure when ordering that they are included. I had these from a previous kit I used a few years ago.

Bit tricky to fit needs 2 people

Right, I'm typing this after spending 3 hours of my Sunday wrestling with a garage door and its mechanism. This was a PAINFUL DIY job. cant fault the kit so I'm giving it 5 stars, but the process especially if dealing with a ancient rusty door mechanism like mine is a absolute dog off a job. I now have a blood blister on my thumb and my back is sore from holding up the door on my back. getting the pins in and out is the most difficult bit. If attempting this, spray the area with wd40 and let it work its way through overnight, that might make it easier. I was hampered by the installation that would not allow me to just slide the reels off and I had to take the spring partially off which made it an even bigger ball ache. Honestly I would get a professional to do this as its not worth your time.

Perfect replacement

Part of the kit arrived on time, but without the tools needed to fit the cones. The missing items included punch, two pins, allen key & spring clip. (Missing items are circled in red on the attached photo)I eventually got the missing items a week late.The two new roll pins in the kit are 5mm shorter than the original, see photo of old & new pins for comparison. The new pins are barely long enough to go through the cones.A bit of quality improvement is required.
