Pretty good, but repetitive
I got this for my 86 year old dad. He watches TV all day. We needed something to help keep his brain active. He actually really liked it. It was simple enough to where you could complete the crossword puzzle within 15 or 20 minutes, but challenging a bit to where you felt a sense of accomplishment afterwards.ProsLarge and easy to read - each sheet was large and easy enough to read. My dad still needed his glasses to read it, but that wasn't a big dealWell protected - each sheet came laminated to help each last, which also allowed the sheets to be reusableConsThere are 3 sets of plastic bags the cards come in. One for the puzzle itself, one for the answer keys, and the other for the questions. The plastic bags are pretty cheap and barely fit the cards themselves, so it's a bit of a chore to remove them and put them back in the bags. My suggestion would be to replace the bags with bigger, stronger bags, or get rid of them altogether. You could just keep them in the original folder it comes in.Some of the questions are repetitive - several of the same questions showed up on different cards. For example, the opposite of Off. It seemed kind of lame.Errors - I couldn't remember which card it was on, but there was a question which didn't have a space. So that was a proofing error.Overall, I liked them since my dad enjoyed them.

A packet that packs a punch
I am quite pleased with this crossword bundle. My elderly mother suffers with dementia and it pains me to see her forgetting the simple things that we all take for granted. Last night we had a great time together working on the "Autumn" crossword puzzle. It got her thinking. It was as if what lied dormant in her subconscious was making its way out. She was cognizant of the some of the answers, but needed to be reminded of an experience in order to develop a mental picture of what she wanted to say. It's a process, but I truly believe that engaging with someone that has early onset set dementia by reminding them of things of the past, immersing them in activity, being a constant in their lives, and not allowing them to be isolated is a wonderful start. This crossword kit is an excellent way to begin. It's challenging, comes in large print, multiple of puzzles, answer key sheets, erasable, and it even comes with a marker.

Large print and easy to play
This is a great game for anyone who enjoys simple games to pass the time. The print is large and old and young can enjoy this game. Our kids are learning to read and write. This offered plenty of space for their oversized print. Not overly difficult which can become boring over time. But it is exactly what it says it is and it does it well.

Simple, easy and engaging puzzles.
These puzzles provide brain stimulation for people who don’t get out a lot. The puzzles wipe off allowing them to be used again. Great gift for someone in the hospital or recovery to help make the time pass.

Brought Smiles To Those With Early Stages of Dementia
I work at a memory care facility and took this to work last week. Those in the early stages of dementia enjoyed doing the crossword puzzles. They interacted with others and experienced success when completing the puzzle. Their smiles at their accomplishment were priceless.
