Disappointed
Order came very quickly, just cooked it today but found the Sago has a strong chemical smell to it when simmering also an odd taste that I have never had with Sago or tapioca before, disappointed because it cooked to perfection.

THE REAL THING
These are not cheap but are exactly what I required. I find it impossible to get these in our shops even though it says they are stocked, (but never are), and no explanation. Want to make puddings in the winter like I remember and not ready made in a tin. These are exactly the right ingredient. Very pleased.

Sago seeds medium.
The tapioca/sago went mushy when cooked as a milk pudding. I prefer the larger sago grains.

I have been looking for ages for sago supermarket's I use do not appear to stock it then i tried Amazon great at last we can have the old school favourite warming winter sago pudding.
