This hat was perfect for my forty-mile backpacking trip to Havasupai Falls in Arizona. This was the best option especially with the Arizona heat in August. We also went in the water ALOT and it kept me nice and cool. It does NOT show sweat stains (which I was worried about). I washed it in the washer machine when I got home and it has held up perfectly. I definitely recommend this hat for fishing and enjoying the outdoors. Delivery was on time. Enjoy!

I am a photographer and this hat is great. keeps my neck protected, breaths pretty good and covers my face from the sun. Seems to be well made well and I can scrunch in my bag and it looks OK when I pull it out and put it back on.

This one checks all the boxes: it really covers my neck and ears from the sun; it does not look excessively dorky; the under-chin strap has a nifty snap on each side, so that I can quickly add the strap when it’s top-down driving weather. Now I have it in three colors, and all the straps live in the armrest of my car. Yay!

Keeps sun off neck and ears. Not good on heavy windy days. But for the most part comfortable, lightweight and does the job.Recommend lighter colors. Darker colors get stained by sweat that doesn’t wash out.

...a hat that fits, breaths, stays in place and keeps the sun off my face & neck.This is a nice hat to wear out in direct sun. I wear it when I kayak. It does exactly what it is supposed to do while being comfortable to wear and staying where it belongs. One very minor grumble... the plastic gizzies that hold the detachable chin strap end up being in my ears while in use. This isn't a major thing but it is dumb... but easily ignored. Other than that little exception, this is an awesome river hat for cheap money. I approve.
