Klean Kanteen 14oz Rise Mug - Stainless Steel with Flip Lid - Tofu

This is a unique cup, really kind of cute. . Very few travel mugs go in the dishwasher, this one does, even the lid; and…,the handle is open at the bottom so it can easily sit in the cup holder in your car without giving up the convenience of a handle.

Each person in my family has their own stainless Klean Kanteen mug — we love them! They do NOT impart a weird taste as in some stainless products. I especially value Klean Kanteen’s commitment to reduce their carbon footprint and utilize recycled materials. From camping, to travel, to everyday use at home, these are the mugs we reach for most. We own one of each color and really love the earthy tones selected for this series. Great for ice cream, parfaits, coffee, tea, hot cocoa and more!

This mug is a nice size and keeps both hot and cold well. The only gripe I have is the lid is not water tight, despite having a rubber seal. I didn't buy a mug for the lid though.

I bought this just few for times when I would need an insulated mug. However when I tried it out for my breakfast coffee I was hooked and have not used a conventional mug since. I had just got used to coffee in my regular mug cooling off a bit thru breakfast. With this that does not happen and its also a very comfortable mug to hold with that deep handle. So my occasional use mug became a daily use.

I bought the first one of these at a retail store. I really like it, other than the lid should have an external tab so you don't have to put your fingers into the lid opening to remove the lid.I purchased this one and sadly I am disappointed. There is a small but noticeable chip in the finish right at the rim. This should not have passed inspection. I don't know if it will chip further, I'm willing to hold onto the mug rather than replace it, because that is a time-wasting nuisance. However, the vendor should ship me a replacement. I hope they're interested in long term customer satisfaction.Update 7/11/24 I have not heard from the vendor. I do not recommend you buy this product through Amazon since the vendor is shipping what appears to be factory seconds and is not concerned about customer service.

It doesn’t keep coffee hot. The lid is messy. Too expensive. Overall, I am very disappointed.

Delivered damaged

I generally like Klean Kanteen products, but this one disappoints. The build quality and materials are fine, but the design leaves something to be desired. The wide-drinking hole does not seal very well and is prone to dribbling when closed. The flip-lid also bumps into into my nose while I drink, giving me a damp nose. The shape of the flat metal handle doesn't suit my grip either - in particular, I've found that it's hard edges are uncomfortable.
