I mix this with a bit of white rice and some psyllium POWDER (not husk), and it has firmed up my rescue's poop very well.

Warning. Food is poisonous said by my vet. Don't buy!
During the 3rd day of having 1/2 cup added into this brands high protein performance(discontinued and had no issues) to this one and caused my service dog such a bad reaction due to chemicals used in the food to damage his back. Nearly $500 in vet bills and torment for 2 weeks. Petco corporate office offered me $50 gift card which was not worth one night of pain for my pet. Nevermind my lost sleep and the cone for 10 days. Avoid this food at all cost along with any other Petco edible products if you want your pet to live.
