The real thing .
This product is meant to be thick and like treacle. It's smell is divine and can't be replaced by cistus fragrance oils which are more fluid but have a completely different smell. I made that mistake once but not again. Worth the effort in thinning with carrier oil or perfumers alcohol.. A must if you like chypre fragrances.

this is so thick and beautiful, like tar only much nicer smell. I'd be worried if it was thin and runny, that would be a really bad sign. this is great for mixing with floral oils and citrus.... my favourites are sandalwood or patchouli for really deep heady scent... had positive comments on the scent!! is lovely. simply love this company

It has performed very well.
I bought this because the Precious oil dilution Labdanum was not mixing well with ambroxan for the base I was mixing. It is performing very well as a fixative and the aroma is much nicer when diluted with alcohol in comparison. Obviously Labdanum is not easy to work with because of its treacle texture even when warmed even with a gram scale, so I winged it with the tiniest bit and diluted with 3mls alcohol, it's lovely slightly sweet and I think it has helped increase projection. So don't bin it when you see how thick it is. 👍👍👍

Absolutely unusable
The essential oil inside the 3 vials of "Mystic Moments" Cistus Ladanifer I ordered has morphed into a quasi solid gelatinous dark brown substance (not at all translucid like in the picture). They are simply unusable. Normally I’d return them and ask for a refund but I can't because of the lockdown. Anyway I don’t think you can find an « essential oil » of worse quality anywhere.

Lovely reminder of Iberian wild hills, bought it for burner. Oil is like treacle in consistency so needs to be mixed with base oil before workable.

Oil was a solid mess
The oil came swiftly but instead of an oil it was a solid sticky mess. It seems like it has happened to other people too. I am really unhappy as i needed the oil as part of a formula for something which i now can not make. Not happy. Will never order from them again
