Good, solid, folder with a smooth action
This knife has a very compact profile with a very solid build, much more compact and sleeker than the Kizer Bulldog, which I was about to purchase. Has the feel of a very expensive knife. The action is very smooth due to its ball bearing system. The handle scales of titanium have nice grip to them due to the sandblasting finish. The S35VN blade came out of the box very sharp; I have not done anything super extreme with this knife at work ,so the edge has lasted awhile, but, if I ever need to sharpen the blade, it will quite easy due to its cleaver style edge. Overall, this is a great knife .

Small Knife, Big Character
The Kizer Sparrow is like that one buddy who’s always prepared—never the loudest in the room, but always ready to get things done. With a 2.99” 154CM blade, this thing is razor-sharp, holds an edge like a champ, and shrugs off corrosion like it’s no big deal. Whether you’re slicing through rope, cardboard, or just impressing yourself with clean cuts, the Sparrow delivers. Now, let’s talk about that green micarta handle—because it’s grippy, rugged, and ages like a fine bourbon. It feels just right in hand, not too bulky, not too slim, and gives off that rugged, old-school outdoorsman vibe without trying too hard. It’s like your favorite pair of jeans—comfortable, durable, and just keeps getting better.Deployment? Smooth as butter on a hot biscuit. The thumb hole and liner lock make flipping this thing open satisfying, and once it’s locked in, it’s staying put like your excuses for buying another knife. At just under 3 inches, it’s legal almost everywhere, discreet in the pocket, but capable enough to be your go-to EDC.Final Verdict: 10/10, would carry again. Small but mighty—like a caffeine-fueled squirrel with a mission.

Like a QSP Penguin but nicer in every way
Prior to finding this, the QSP Penguin was my favorite pocket knife. I didn't love the Sparrow immediately, but it has now replaced the Penguin entirely. The Sparrow is definitely less affordable (more than 2x the price) than the Penguin, but it retains everything I liked about the Penguin and improves all the things I don't. Both have similar size/weight, blade shape/geometry, ease of sharpening, and use cases. But the Sparrow has better steel & edge retention, a flipper tab, a thumb hole instead of studs (which stick out too much on the Penguin and often catch on your pocket), ball-bearing pivot with MUCH smoother action, a better clip, more ergonomic handle shape, and generally less "fuzzy" micarta with more consistent finish. The only trade-offs are that the Sparrow is a little fatter in your pocket and a *tiny* bit heavier. And it's more expensive. But I think this is "goldilocks" price/performance/finish for a super useful, compact, non-scary pocket tool.

Beautiful knife!
Great Kizer knife designed by Vincent Rizzo of Blackbird Knives. Very sharp, solid lockup, no blade play. Excellent size and weight for EDC use. There is nothing not to love!

Love this knife - surprised me!
Got this with a small promotion that brought the price just a hair over $40 and took a chance on it based on some video reviews I discovered. What a fantastic pocket knife. It punches way higher than it's price point and cannot recommend enough. Super smooth action, great scales. Total winner
