I really don't know how the dimensions of these have anything 1.5 or 2 in it, these things are an inch around at most. I can stretch this to wear as a ring on my thumb.With that being said, I have very fine and thin hair. I actually struggled the tiniest bit to put one in my hair. I can't wrap it at all. It fits my hair nicely if I don't pull it the entire way through (see pic).
