GIMA 25586 Classic/Clinical/glass fever thermometer, thermometer easy to read and use for adults, children, elderly, without mercury, with CE Certification

Arrived a bit longer than Prime usually, in a week or so. Looks as in discription, good packaging, no harm on it. However the delivery was just dropping in my door as it is small item. Works well, easy to use. Essential basic item, must have! It is do much more accirate than digitals.. Recommend👆

Doesn’t work. Was stuck at the highest temperature. A thermometer shouldn’t be complicated. After being confused by its inability to read temperature. I read the Instructions. It said to shake it to push the mercury back to the bottom of the thermometer. This didn’t work. I shock it harder and harder. I took the sleeve off and shook it. It came loose from the handle. Then flew across the room and smashed against the wall. I owned this thermometer for a total if 5 minutes. What a waste of atoms

Bought this after being fed up with the silly Boots thermometer (electronic) showing 35C no matter what. I used to have a thermometer like this a very very long time ago and remember analogue thermometers being more consistent in measurements. When I use it, I shake the liquid down to the bottom of the temperature scale and then keep it tight under my armpit for around 7-10mins. It works well and the results are very accurate. Love it and won't look back!

They are ok for my daughter but the the writing is a bit small for the older person

It does take like 7min to get the measurements but it is Very accurate measurement,good tool, much better than electronic thermometers, I think 1star rating from people who don’t know how to use it.

This is possibly my worst purchase from Amazon. Firstly product does not work at all. Secondly day after purchase i tried it again but did not notice that the end had smashed in the holder. I put the broken sharp end of the thermometer under my tongue. Luckily i removed it as soon as i could see that it was broken. Could have caused a serious injury. Please do not purchase this item

I bought this at the same time as an electronic one - I thought I'd compare the two because the reviews on the electronic one said it was inaccurate which turned out to be false. The electronic one is great. This one I found hard to read so would not have used it. Also foolishly I thought I'd recreate the classic scene from Carry on Doctor where every time the nurse came to take his temperature Sid James would put the thermometer into his tea cup to show he had a high temperature. When I did this the the thermometer cracked and split its contents all over the floor. So its not for comic use. :-)

I needed to take my temperature recently and when I got my battery thermometer out of the cabinet the batteries were flat. So decided to buy this. I checked it wih the hospitals and it was showing the same temperature. Very easy to read and no batteries to worry about.
