The laptop appears to be in MINT factory like condition. No dent, scratches, blemishes, or defects. Good value for the money. May be too soon to judge operational performance but so far so good actually!

After a hard time trying to find a top shelf referb Toughbook that checked all my boxes: Wi-Fi, DVD, cellular, disk Drive, HDMI, plenty of internal RAM (but you can plug any kind of chip, flash drive, external hard drive in ANY size chip or plug) into the half dozen USB ports that surround this thing so there’s no problem there.. amazing. and a hard drive with almost 300 GB of storage (with a port that will accommodate up to a terabyte. First off let me say I am not advertising for ANYONE.. I found Rugged Books listing. The listing said that they rebuilt all of they’re devices right there and made sure they were in top condition. The seller said that the device THIS particular device was in excellent condition, and seemed to have everything I wanted in a laptop, not to mention the fact that they’re nearly indestructible, IF you don’t do anything stupid with it. The seller was very approachable, he answered all my questions via email within a couple hours!? The device was at an Amazon warehouse but the one I chose, was the one that I’d receive.. That’s nearly unheard of nowadays. OK, I got this laptop and was very pleased with the outside, it looked like it was new. Then, I started opening up all the little doors that are all the way around this device . There were no empty holes. This thing came with everything on it! It is the fastest device I’ve ever used. 10 times faster than my Acer laptop. And it has security built-in that will shut your browser down and erase or block any tracking attempts. To be honest that’s kind of a pain because I have to sign in to every site now, but I don’t mind. It runs windows 10 pro. I plan on upgrading it when they get all of the bugs worked out of 11. This thing will even advises you when a bluetooth is engaged or even plugging in earbuds!? I’ve had no security issues at all! I can see why these super laptops were used by police and military! It’s a whole different ballgame! The battery was a tad weak and it was a huge problem to get a replacement but other than that I am so so happy with this purchase. I would do it again and again! OK, those are the facts. Oh, after using a battery conditioning charger I doubled the weak batteries run time and calibration.

Computer shipped quickly and well packaged with charger included. It is a CF-53, not the model advertised. The model delivered is advertised for cheaper. Started up well, prompted to get setup and operating. Windows10 is the operating system, but this does not mean you get the Windows products (Word, Excel, etc). You're allowed an opportunity to purchase these products when you're setting up.The case is replaced with cheesy plastic. Not magnesium allow as advertised in the description. Also, the screen protector in the description is not installed.Touchscreen works, but just barely.We'll see how the battery performs! This is a $500 computer, and generally you get what you pay for. Two factors that weighed heavily in why I chose this particular rebuilt computer was the magnesium alloy case and installed screen protector, so the cheap plastic case and no protector are rather disappointing.

I didn’t buy this laptop for its looks. I wanted something that would stand up to some abuse. After researching rugged laptops, I decided on this one because it similar to that first responders may use. My plan is to use it with my ham radios.I have not put it through the paces yet. When I used to transmit with my radios, the mouse and keyboard would stop working. If it doesn’t do that I will be fine.I didn’t realize that it has a touch screen. I seen the stylus in the pictures, but wasn’t expecting one to be included. I knew from my research that the touchpad had issues. Whenever possible, chances are I will be using a mouse or the stylus. As far as the battery, I forget exactly how long it was supposed to last. When I placed it on charge, it said it 6 hours remaining at fifty percent. I thought I would be able to upgrade it to windows 11. Using the pc health application, it needed the tpm to be 2.0. and not compatible to the cpu processor. But there are ways around that.All in all I believe that it will take everything I throw at it.Update: I have no problem with my keyboard or mouse having any RFI issues. Working perfectly, when I’m ready to load up windows 11 the sky’s the limit.

Laptop was in great shape! Perfect packaging, and no damage. Everything works great! Booted right up with no issues. Bought this laptop to use my oscilloscope at my shop and it works perfectly.

I originally though that I was shipped a laptop without the GPS module. The seller replied quickly and pointed out where to find the GPS module in device manager. It is installed! I was so glad to find out I was wrong. My bad! Good customer service. Excellent Toughbook in excellent condition. It is exactly what I wanted. So glad I purchased from them.The touchscreen is in excellent condition. The case, keyboard, and hardware are all great! It works perfectly.

These Toughbooks are really nice. Now that they are older you can get an awesomely constructed unit for an affordable price. The battery goes for up to 30 hours off a charge, and that's without the accessory battery. With the accessory battery you can even swap out the main battery without shutting down. For a work laptop these can't be beat.
