Exceeded Expectations
My first hand pan. Arrived quickly, sounds and looks beautiful. The notes are clear and in tune, and all the accessories were included. I love it! Don’t use the rubber mallets though. There’s a reason it’s called a hand pan.

Good Pan At This Price
This is my first pan. I did not want to spend a lot of money in case I didn't end up liking it while I learn how to play. I received this pan very well packaged and seemingly in tune. I began playing and am improving my sound quality. As I am improving my strike technique I am hearing the tones becoming more melodic. However, I do not like how the bE4 plays. No matter what I do it will not resonate, all the other notes play well. The pattern on the top of the pan is very pretty and so makes the pan more attractive in the space where I primarily use it. The little stand works well, but the strap on it is fixed at both ends so there is no way to attach it to anything...like when the pan is in its case, you cant hang it from a strap. The case fits the pan very well and provides nice protection. I have hiked with it and found that it is acceptable on a 5 mile very rough terrain trail but the attachment points seem to be just a bit off for really good comfort. I will be adding a chest strap too.Overall, I believe this is a good pan at this price point. It can make very pretty music once you learn how to properly play it.

Worth the money for a quality hand pan
Came in great shape, clean, and in tune. First impression after playing with a few friends’ handpans in the past, very satisfied! 👍🏼

Pleasantly Surprised
The media could not be loaded. Well packed, everything included plus an extra rim clip. I have 2 Handpans tuned to the 440Hz D Krud Scale and was looking for handpan tuned to 432Hz tuning. I was pleasantly surprised to find this 10 note 432Hz D Kurd Scale so reasonably priced. The notes are definitely deeper, and have a more harmonious and resonant sound, than my 440Hz tuned Handpans. Great because I was looking to create mindfulness and a calming space for meditation, sound healing, Reiki shares and yoga. Great price for overall sound quality. The durable nitride-treating was a bonus. Contacted Amazon, with questions and the supplier responded directly. The stand is low to the ground. I do not play my Handpans on a stand so having it stored low to the ground is preferred because it helps to stabilize the handpan while being stored. Great handpan for beginners or someone looking for a 432Hz tuning.

Tips for the true beginner enthusiast…
I wanted to love this. I’m a piano player, not a percussionist, so I hear music well but I’m new to this type of instrument. For the true beginner who wants to learn to play a song, this handpan is just screechy out of tune. The low notes were decent to play but the top 4 notes barely registered so I think it would hamper learning to play because the touch/tap/stroke you need to develop to play is lost when you have to work the note. Also note this pan is 432hz not 440hz, and nitrided steel so definitely more of a blunt sounding note to begin with.Who is this good for? The beginner to music who wants to play around. If you find using the drumsticks delightful like a steel drum or you want to amuse your kids or grandkids without fear of damaging the item. If it sounds good to you then that’s great! I have a feeling these drums are very hit or miss since they are mass produced. I would buy a pan that has less notes from these cheap companies and give yourself the best shot of a few notes that are in tune than a lot of notes that are spraying. If you have any music background you will hear the notes wrong and it will drive you crazy.
